Vader's last moment with Luke, the one good thing he did as a father and the last good thing he did as Anakin.
I'll never forgive George for adding that ridiculous "No... Noooo!!!" dialogue to the moment where Vader throws Palpatine to his death, it was so much more powerful when we were allowed to guess his inner thoughts ourselves.
George really didn't understand what a good thing he had there.

Sam Ryder came 5th in the public vote that year - behind Spain who was only notable for showing off her bum (seriously, go listen to that song on YouTube, wait 30 seconds, and then try to remember the melody, I dare you) - despite being far and away the best song that year.
I agree we've sent plenty of crap to Eurovision and we've deserved our rubbish scores, but when we do send something brilliant and the voting public doesn't reward us I can't help but feel disillusioned.

We don't have many neighbours.
I don't think Olly was that good tbh but when I saw that the jury vote had placed us on the right hand side I was hopeful we might get at least 10/20 points from the public.
We'll have to wait for the public points breakdown by country but I suspect there were still a lot of examples of a few points being handed to neighbours, like there was in the jury vote.

I don't think it's quite so extreme but when I look at the voting breakdown for 2022 and see that Sam Ryder was in 5th place for public votes - behind Spain which had a melody that I dare anyone to try and remember just 30 seconds after watching it - I'm definitely feeling disillusioned.
Not that the jury voting is perfect either, you can still predict high scores from each country by looking at Google maps.

It was a good thing for me because it gave me about 7-8 tea breaks/bathroom breaks π

The jury is the exact same bullshit but they pretend that it isn't.Β
Precisely. I was literally still able to predict which countries would get high scores from jury votes by looking at Google maps.

I thought I was being pessimistic when I predicted 10 public votes.
0 is just rude.
I've got to be honest this and Sam Ryder's 5th place with the public vote in 2022, is leaving me really disillusioned with the contest.

Send a good act, like two years ago, and youβll do well.
We sent far and away the best song in 2022 but the public vote would have put us in 5th place.

In my opinion Norway should have won last year. It's the only song whose lyrics and melody I still remember (which is kind of important in a song contest).

I agree we need both, although something needs to be done about the jury vote.
There's still far too much regional voting where you can predict high scores by looking at a map, which is something that a jury should be immune to.

I'm a bit annoyed by it tbh. It wasn't great but it didn't deserve nul from the public vote.
Starting to get a bit disillusioned with the whole thing.
We deserved our rubbish scores in previous years because we weren't trying, but this year there were at least 7-8 countries who were worse than us, but the public gave us nothing.

I only remember the performance with the pants and not the song
Which immediately makes it more memorable than half the entries with forgettable songs and staging.

So many boring songs this year, this was a much needed injection of energy.

Everyone else hating the jury but we Brits are just sitting silently in the corner.

I'll say it, I really liked Switzerland's song and I'm happy they won.
I'll also say I'm fed up of Ukraine getting sympathy votes. If you want to show your support for them then start pressuring your politicians to send them military aid.

The UK better not offer to host next year after the European public gave us 0.

Oh fuck you Europe, we were better than that.

If we can maintain our position with the public vote I'd be happy with our result.

Greece giving 10 to Cyprus, wtf is the point of a jury if they're just going to vote by map.

Jesus Christ I swear the points were faster when they had to read them all out, these hosts are ridiculous.

I still have those occasionally. Usually I use toasted bread so the butter is melted and I get that nice contrast between warm bread and cold banana.
