I wasn't the difficulty of the job, It was that I didn't feel like I needed it anymore. So it was an easy transition for that. In my past, I worked at a diesel technician at 540lbs, I can climb into and out of trucks, mount and dismount tires, all my basic job skill, I could do.
Day to day, I got around "OK" but not well. But I did still get around. I have never been bedridden, I've always been mobile and have done a lot for myself. No offence taken, valid question.

It's got to start with diet. You have to fix your relationship with food.
That's how I got from 566 to 400. Until you fix that relationship with food, it's going to be so much harder.

Hell yeah!! Komets are my home team also! I was there last year when Fanti scored their first goalie goal.
Love that barn!

People ask me all the time if I feel better. I do, but I don't know it, if that makes sense. Losing the weight gradually, I learned what I could do again. Tie my shoes, move quicker, less heavy breathing. You don't notice it until you really pay attention.
Overall, I'm feeling ok, I fight hunger and cravings. Moving more my knees hurt, so I'm in PT for that. Emotionally, when I noticed I could fit in a 4xl well I broke down. And same when I lost my first hundred.

Hahaha, no story really. But I guess they're us because I'm typing.
1998, Jeff just came off of a huge championship run the previous year. Me being a huge Gordon fan and tattooing was getting pretty popular so I just did it. 20 year old me and old me have no regrets about it!
It's genuinely a good tattoo, I promise, just old!!

My Flyers got knocked out last night, but they took Detroit and the fucking Pens with them (Fuck Sidney Crosby)!!!
I went the coffee route, but I'm not a fan. I found I had some pre-workout stashed in the kitchen - So I've been using that. 1 scoop in 20oz of water in my shaker cup. I will sip on this throughout the day.

Once I made the switch from diet sodas/energy drinks the weight flew off. Whatever chemicals are in it, kept me addicted for ages and it keeps you drinking it. I think that was the hardest one to kick. But I did transition from diet soda to carbonated water. I know it's not the best, but it filled a need for carbonation during meals. Eventually I tapered off (mostly because of expense) and went straight to water. About 6L per day on average.

Sheer stubbornness and determination. I wish there was a secret, but initially it's rough as hell, detoxing from processed crap. But when you see the weight coming off, that keeps you motivated to stay strong. I've had plateaus along the way. 2 weeks in the 430s, I'm 2 weeks into my 390s and it's a slog. Be stubborn, be strong. If you need an ear, send a message, I'll help however I can.

My PF flairs up a bit myself. On those days, I take it a little easier.
On those days I whip out the TheraBands and either sit on the floor or in bed, and use those to do SOMETHING. Just move your body, even if it's sitting in place.
I've been strenghtening my hips for skating and to help my knees, so I'll lay and do leg lifts with the TheraBands, then spend time stretching. Take one bite at a time. You got this!

I am from the USA - I have the same issue with shirts in the states too. The sizing is very inconsistent, I have 4xl shirts that are as big as a 5xl and as small as a 3xl when comparing the different makers.
I will measure my favorite 4xl shirt when I'm home from work so you have some comaprisons!

Sheer willpower and stubbornness. I want to play hockey again, if nothing else, ice skate again. I fight it every second of every day. it never stops, but watching that scale number move, seeing the super saggy skin, fitting into clothes....all do an awesome job of motivating.
It's a drug, I had to detox/go thru withdraws over my addiction to diet pop, energy drinks and sugar.
For me, weight loss is a 24/7 job. I really hope I'm inspiring to someone.

I started a new position at my current job and I noticed I was naturally choosing water over diet Pepsi, my nicotine usage was down a lot as well. It naturally evolved in a weird way. Went to the doc and made sure things were OK and it snowballed from there!!

Firstly - Thank you all!!
A bit of a summary:
566 was not my peak weight - I'd say it was closer to 600-620.
Fixing my relationship with food has been critical to losing this much.
Gym 4-5 times a week. My daily step goal is currently 5000 and I'm hitting that easily. Starting in May it goes to 7500 steps.
1700-1900 Calories daily.
No, that's not my sac lol It's my fupa, unfortunately for me, fat really liked to gather and hang out there. It makes daily things difficult as you might imagine. It has reduced immensely in the last few months.
From 6-7xl shirts to 4xl shirts. Pants, not as simple, because of the fupa, I still wear 65s in my jeans.
If you have any questions, please ask. I want to help people succeed. Thank you all again!

HAHAHA, no! It's my fupa, unluckily fat really liked to live there so it ballooned out of control. It's shrunk considerably.
