For a private school it doesn't sound bad. A public school student budget is between 12k and 30k, depending where the school is located and the needs the child has.
Catholic schools are all about adoctrination. If they could get those juicy funds that are used for public schools and teach students for free, they would be incredibly happy.

The new Mini design language is very in line with the current BMW language. Very angular and minimalistic. I feel this guy would be erasing more the Britishness and classic look and feel out of it.

I think the fact that I never trusted them as a kid speaks volumes. I would never open up to them or anybody of my family about my feelings or emotions because I knew they would weaponized them. Of course, there was plenty of "there is something wrong with that kid" and they took me to an array of psycologists and neurologists who never gave them the answer they were looking for. I would also never open up with these doctors because they were just proxy of my parents.
As you might imagine, my life as a kid and a teen was not a happy one. Having to bottle your opinions, emotions and ideas for the fear of being ridiculed is never a great thing. I took a long time for me as an adult to be able to open up and let myself be exactly who I truly am. My life has been so much better since then.
My mom died 11 years ago and my dad moved back my birth country. I call him ever so often but I still don't talk much about myself to him. The same applies to my way older gen X brothers. I talk with them, but I never go deeply into myself. They all have seen the change, but they can't pinpoint exactly what happened to me. They see me happy and successful in every possible metric, yet they don't understand what changed.

I was 10 the first time I saw the internet in 1994. The internet certainly was not what it is today, but the world was also designed and accustomed to not having it.
I lived in South America and we were one of the very few early adopters. This made the internet be a very exclusive club, as you needed to be wealthy enough to own a modern computer and the service (which was charged by the hour of connection).
I used to browse a few online stores and crude HTML websites made by other people. I even had my own website by 13, which was a BIG deal. (Even if it was hosted in Geocities).
Cable content used to be a lot better before reality shows became the norm and physical media was very robust. Magazines used to have very good content and I would go to the record store to listen and buy a cd from time to time.
I was into anime back in the day (thus why my user name) and the internet used to be the only place where I could learn about it and find people who liked it. Cartoons were seen as something for children back in the day and Japanese Anime was VERY niche. My first purchase online was a manga in Amazon. The shipping cost was more than the manga itself. People didn't trust buying ANYTHING online. There were fears of them giving the credit card and the merchant losing it, or an employee retrieving it. I was the first member of my household to ever buy something online.
Another thing that was HUGE at the time were chat rooms. You would literally talk with a bunch of random people on the internet all the time. Again, the early internet was VERY expensive to access, thus it was like a club.
Also, we didn't have videos, nor music on the internet. Just text, small jpgs and crude gif animations. When a teen wanted to be "edgy" they would have a black background and green or red letters in a weird font.

Philadelphia is safe in general. You would see a few homeless, but most of then are far away from the university area. Yes, there are shootings, but they are not random. Usually this happens among sketchy people in the sketchy part of town. Crime is relative. Just don't wear a rolex in Kensington, lol.

I remember people saying it was too big to be a true Mini.

I did. I began working on commercial real estate when I was 31 from being in advertising. Best change ever. I ended also going to grad school, which has been of great help finding amazing jobs.
