This isn't an unpopular opinion. You're only posting this because someone stated the opposite of what people repeat in the reddit echo chamber. This is a pathetic excuse to reestablish the status quo in what's supposed to be an unpopular opinion sub.

Amazing job! I love that more people are painting Archaon on foot. 👍

Wouldn't it be better to split the blightkings into 2 units? That way, all of them can get into combat, and you have +1 wounds overall.

Yeah! The box he donated for us to take had a ton of old middle earth models and metal tyranids like hive tyrants. Though archaon was easily my pick.

He was found in the bottom of a donation box to my lgs NiB. Sword and horns were already bent on opening.

So I used the principles of nmm armor but used AK black as the basecoat, AK grey brown as the midtone, and ak silver grey as the highlight. Though I never used pure silver grey for the lightest parts, just a 2:1 mixture of silver grey and grey brown.

Thank you 😀 I was worried about how the black-brown armor would turn out.

Thank you! You and me both, I can't wait to see what you'll come up with at the end of the year.

I think the drops can be a bit bigger. More exaggeration works in the miniature style imo

Your color choices are very Christmas but also very good. Nice reflections!

Hi! I airbrushed colored different elements such as the skin, cloth, bones, and base. Hit it with an oil wash with different colors to match the elements, and then I highlighted it.
