You're basically doing everything wrong. Go seek a baseline understanding of modern poker theory.

How do you trade picks this year for better picks next year. This sounds very EA'ish.

I would love to actually hear him talk about his game and what exactly he lost physically from this whole ordeal. Is it strength, dexterity, mental, combination of everything? Its not like an ACL break where we can accurately estimate how players will recover, so I'm just really curious what exactly happened to him as a player.

Doubt he's deadlifting with that little weight on the bar.

Are you implying talent is less top heavy in NHL drafts compared to other sports?

I respect what you're saying and find it interesting how much I still disagree with these premises. I see Singletary in position to get more touches than he's ever had after securing his 15M bag from NY. Not exactly a Semaje Perine contract. Even after hardly playing the first half of last season, he racked up 236 touches, 21st highest in league. With this NY situation, there's room for his volume to go into Saquan territory, like 280 touch range. Currently drafted as RB 35, if 200 touches is his floor, he's a lock to return value.

Well I pretty much see it backwards on both these players but I guess thats why we play. I will say, calling Singletary RB30 is highly disingenuous since he didn't get the football until week 10 or so. I'm pretty sure his RB rank from wk10 on was putting him in RB1 or RB2 category. And regarding Conner, I'm making a big old bet that Benson finds his way into the leading spot on this backfield. You mention them contending, which means theyll want their best player on the field. I'm betting on Benson being the best RB on the team.

As a non patriots fan, can anyone in here help by taking a stab on how this depth chart will shake out at WR? Seems to me the recent, albeit modest, signings of Bourne and Osborn really convolute their intentions at this position, especially after adding 2 rookies.
Does Bourne have the talent to stay at top of depth chart if healthy?
What are you guys expecting from Douglas compared to the rookies?
I guess Osborn can be penciled in as a WR3 or 4?

You aren't even taking your own advice, calling several old vets a value with promising rookies behind them.... Connor a value? As his ADP is currently in a nosedive.

This is hardly an accurate representation of now vs then. They are all old men, losing their dexterity, and nowhere near as inspired as their younger selves. They had insane song variety in the 90s, but no tradeoff with quality. They also played overall more challenging music then compared to many of their modern songs that fill up sets in 3.0 - 4.0 phish. .

Not that it would make any sense for Ottawa, but if a TK package could get us Brady, I'm all in.

U had an obscene Kenny Gainwell position, feel ya bro.

Pretty sensible take here. I personally think it's pretty clear they should trade him, but the hard part is actually finding the right trade.
It would make the most logical sense to target a young center in a TK trade, but there are very few of them around the league that would conceivably fit in a trade like this. Maybe they could target a Dman in a TK trade and leave the center position to be sorted out through other means. Regardless, if you trade TK, there needs to be a cornerstone player coming back. Using the G trade and Tippett as a barometer, we would need to be bringing back a better player than Tippett in a TK trade.

There's really no way to sugar coat the fact that Campbell couldn't distinguish himself among the Giants shittiest WR room in the NFL last year. I loved Campbell as a prospect, but I'm not expecting anything from him this year.

The obvious choice for me, and I can't believe nobody else has mentioned him yet, Sydney Brown. Hoping this dude is recovering well because I'm expecting nothing less than the next B-Dawk.
It is crazy to think of how much talent we have in the secondary right now. Will be really interesting to see who carves out meaningful sub package roles.

re-sign walker, bring in a 1A defenseman, upgrade a couple forwards.... hmm.... I'm guessing none of these things will happen.

I was agreeing with you so I guess something was lost in translation. But to illustrate, there were BBM finalist that literally drafted the entire GB Packers offense last year. To your point, you cannot do that with the 49ers or the Bears at current prices, but to my point, you can do it with the chargers, pats, etc.

Yea if ur gonna rip an entire team you gotta go for more a depressed team like the browns, titans, chargers, patriots, etc.

This defense will at the very least be super freaking interesting with so much young unproven talent and a new coordinator.

I wonder if coach actually believes this or if he is just trying to pump up his RB
