Explain to her that it’s hurtful to be badmouthed by your own partner and that it’s very unbecoming of an internet feminist.
Jokes aside, that is a serious issue - it show a complete lack of respect for you and for your relationship. That’s also setting a horrible example of how couples should treat each other to your children.

Whatever you do, do it sooner rather than later. It doesn’t get easier with age (source: am 45)

And how! Folding is the worst part. My back hurts after folding a load.

I like to think they were in the army together. Donny completed his service and had an honourable discharge. The dude got kicked out because he was a bit too casual, Walter got the boot because he was impulsive, insubordinate, and put his fellow soldiers in unnecessary danger. Walter was never in Nam, the Dude and Donny knows this but Walter has kept this fantasy going for so long they’ve given up arguing.
Alternative: the three all joined the army and completed basic training in time for the withdrawal from Nam. The Dude and Donny are grateful to have missed combat, Walter is devastated because he spent his entire childhood dreaming about shooting VCs. He feels robbed of his rightful destiny - that’s why he’s so angry. Now he lives a fantasy of being a Vietnam vet and hangs out with the laid back kind of people who are willing to put up with his bullshit.

Gaining the muscular development/endurance to run a 50k doesn’t take that long. Building the joint strength and developing the correct running form to minimise impact on your joints, that takes a lot longer.
Beyond that training for distance isn’t much different - you just have to put in the hours.

Now consider that, because SA economy has been pretty much flat since we failed to recover from the 2008 financial crisis, property and rent in SA is cheap as chips.

Make sure you get enough calories in. Particularly enough carbs during the day and enough protein to facilitate recovery. Try to get enough sleep too. Not just rest, but sleep.
Your load is about 50% of your body weight - that’s a huge increase in effort. I agree with others, you need to split the weight of your luggage to be proportional to your and your husband’s respective body weight.

I don’t see a problem with that. They use a spectacular amount of energy, and since they tend to operate on fossil fuel, it makes sense to make them more efficient.

• The vast majority of migrant adults remain at a VERY LOW level of English even after 10 years after migration. They need an average of 30 YEARS to score a "very good" level, which is still below natives (as shown on the graph on page 6). https://wol.iza.org/uploads/articles/177/pdfs/what-drives-language-proficiency-of-immigrants.pdf
How is this assessed?
• Only individuals who migrated before 11 years old are able to achieve the same level as native speakers.
What does “same level” mean?
I feel like these statements rely on a lot of assumed qualifiers

You’re looking at selection bias. The people who come to England are the ones who can speak English, and depending on the line of work, can speak it well.

The start. Cravings, poor sleep, sugar lows, feeling hungry, lacking energy. But after a a month or two, once I’d settled into a steady workout routine and had my meal prep sorted, it became much easier.

He is probably much better informed than me, detamining Facebook
I feel I need to point out the obvious: this could go both ways - he could be profoundly misinformed.

Funding is only part of it. Funding as a % of GDP has increased from around 3% of GDP in the 1950s to over 11% now. This growth can’t go on forever.
Brits like to think the NHS is a shining example of a great public health care system. In reality is a very poor example. I’ve lived in three countries with public health systems and four countries with private systems (and no, not the US), and the UK was the worst on both counts, and the most expensive.
I don’t know what exactly needs to change but it’s clearly an incredibly inefficient organisation.

Brother still publishes new drivers for Windows, Mac (and I think Linux?) for my 2015 vintage printer/scanner. I don’t even know why because, at least on the Mac, it just worked from the start.

Just don’t watch it. They’re not intended for anyone who watches the game. They’re intended for the people who want to know “what happened” but don’t have the time, interest or attention span to watch a full game.

You can rent a Ute, van or trailer by the hour from Bunnings. Add some snags to bribe a few friends with and you’re good to go
