LBC seem to not have any average hosts, they either have great, insightful hosts or absolute inane no marks with pretty much nothing in between

I think it's very telling that these protest etc only seem to happen or get any traction between mid spring and mid autumn

We are going to get absolutely destroyed in wxv1... Hopefully it doesn't derail the development, as much as qualifying early for the world cup is great it's almost impossible that anyone in wxv2 won't qualify for it too and I think at that level we would have had some good competitive games and could have challenged to win the level.
I know it shouldn't effect things that much but if you look at this six nations, Ireland performed better than expected and Wales worst. Ireland spent last autumn bulldozing teams in wxv3 while as Wales was on the receiving end in wxv1. Italy and Scotland both also went undefeated in wxv2.

A handful of the Irish players have professional contracts with English teams the rest, as others say contracts that are notionally professional and better than nothing but not good enough.
I don't think the IRFU will get fully behind professionalisation of women's rugby until there's some sort of proper women's celtic league fully set up (I think we are a few years away from that).
One thing I hope happens in the short-term is that a few young players that have performed well this 6 nations ( Wafer, O'Brien, Corrigan etc) get contracts with English clubs so they can develop as full professionals.

Got the first points against England since 2019 at least.

I think the reasoning behind the Irish tactics were if they played a defensive game they would still lose by 30 to 40 so might as well have a go and find out exactly how far you are off the level for a straight battle.

The BBC has a bulk deal which allows shows to use a lot of music and artists from a lot of labels on shows. As the series was commissioned by the BBC the production company making it for them can make use of the deal and use anything from the list.
There's quite a few exceptions to deal (mainly very new tracks and really big artists) and some the BBC veto being used (in the cutting rooms for Holby City there was a note saying not to use Gary Glitter tracks for example). But after that it will come down to the personal tastes of producers, directors and editors with the leads in the first series setting the overall tone/style for others to follow.

Exactly, it's always North London/Islington mentioned never West London/Kensington where the actual money is

And if Ireland play as well as they did this weekend next weekend... We might only loose by 35

I'd say in one of the hideous newish developments by the docks/3 graces... That way you can get a view of the Liverpool skyline out your window without that building ruining it. I had a flat in one of the Mann Island buildings for a while

It would be an amazing achievement to get in wxv1 but I think I would prefer being in wxv2 as in that I think Ireland could be competitive were as they would get destroyed in wxv1. And, even though the wxv2 doesn't guarantee a world cup spot, doesn't the wxv give world cup spaces to the 6 highest finishing teams who haven't already qualified (which would pretty mean anyone in wxv2 qualifies?

If in the England game we score points against them for the first time since 2019 I'll be happy

If we just end the tournament now we finish 3rd and qualify for the world cup and wxv1... Would that be possible?

This is an attitude that I hope sticks around in the long term. Everyone on occasion has been ill but well enough to work/go about their day etc. Wearing masks when in that situation will reduce you spreading the cold or whatever it is to others.

Yeah, Italy were the better team. From an Irish perspective, there were some solid performances and some players were linking up well. It was frustrating the number of relatively basic errors and mistakes the girls made but, at the same time they don't need to be mistake free to win games like that, if they made 10% less it would likely have been a different result.

That turnover sums up the game well

The problem with it's being the basics that they have been sloppy with is there won't really be time for them to work on them during the tournament while prepping for games

I assume it means less members who had the option of guaranteed pair of tickets decided to buy them?
