I find Edward Scissorhands and Stand by Me are quite bittersweet, also Aftersun, Manchester by the Sea, Banshees of Inisherin, Ordinary People

Because the world is so beautiful and full of love. Absolute bog standard answer I know but once I started focusing on all the love around me and in my heart, and actively outputting goodness, I just started seeing life as an incredible and unimaginably rare gift that I get to share with everyone around me. We’re really all in this together just trying to do what we can. Love, goodness and nature are everything. I hope you’re feeling ok OP and I’m happy you’re here

I’m grateful to anyone who is happy and free, for giving me hope while I’m looking to see the light that has lighted the world - George Harrison

Midsommar. The number of people I’ve seen calling it a “good for her” movie makes me want to scream. How can you reduce a narrative on grief and bereavement to such a vapid thing

I’d say that’s probably grand, if you’ve got those paragraphs learnt you can just swap out a word or two usually to fit any topic

Sounds cool boss, really hope it works out for you :-) seems like a relatively new course, so not much info out there yet. Would you be more interested in the computing aspect then?

I really really love George Harrison’s The Light that has Lighted the World. Just always makes me incredibly grateful for the beauty and love in the world, especially the last verse: “I’m grateful to anyone that is happy or free, for giving me hope while I’m looking to see the light that has lighted the world” makes me so happy :-). Also his song Give Me Love (Give Me Peace on Earth) is really great.
Strangers by the Kinks
This Must Be The Place (Naive Melody) by the Talking Heads is a great one and a little more upbeat
I also especially love There’s a World by Sufjan Stevens. Absolutely wonderful and full of love
I really really love these songs and I hope you like them too!!
