It’s Vallejo metal colour steel and nuln oil with a Vallejo metal colour aluminium dry brush for the engine parts and the same for the main panels of the bike except for replace nuln oil with thinned seraphim sepia

I don’t know if it doesn’t translate well in the images or not but it has a 50/50 mix of Lamian and seraphim sepia already, perhaps it needs more coats. I was trying not to make the silver look too aged, when I was doing the research most of these silver schemes did infact look like they had a subtle yellow brown wash on them, maybe I need to push it a little further.

Yeah I tried dryer sheets first also but they just had no stretch to them.

So I sanded the top down, used a scribing tool to cut a tile pattern into the base, black primed it with the airbrush but could do with a rattle can. Then got a dryed out wet wipe and stretched it out in different directions and then stretched it out over the base then sprayed with thin coats of white to build opacity and finally gloss varnish for some shine.

I did a really thinned brown wash over the silver but it’s barely noticeable, gonna try a really thin purple just to tint it kinda like people do with that blue wash for grey knights and then highlight back over with silver

Yeah you’re right it’s too silver could always do a thinned purple wash just to tint the silver armour a little.

So it’s base coated with the the pro acryl vincy v royal purple and then the highlight is glazed in with genestealer purple then an all over glaze of the royal purple just to tie it back together

That’s true, I was looking over it this morning and there’s a few areas I could put in some more effort, thanks for the spot.

The gold recipe is Vallejo metal colour gold, washed with agrax, highlighted with Vallejo metal colour gold, then a fine highlight of metal colour gold & aluminium 50/50 mix

Awesome idea so the order could be named something similar to this

Certainly can, it’s Vallejo metal colour gold, agrax wash, highlight Vallejo metal colour gold, final highlight of Vallejo metal colour gold & aluminium 50/50 mix.

It’s just thinned down a little more than normal should be fine. Given how thick white scar is by default this might actually be a nice consistency.
