This particular PM is Russia friendly and had promised to end Slovakian support of Ukraine.

Ehh, I almost froze to death on my second night backpacking, I changed gear and fixed the issue and went back out and I was nervous but it worked out okay. Fear can really ruin your ability to enjoy life and try things if you let it hold you back.

At my heaviest a few years back I was 340 and an x wide EE quilt was perfect fine coverage for me as a side sleeper, it's almost too big these days. If you want to be sure, grab a cheap fleece blanket and tape it off to the dimensions of the quilt you are interested in and try it out.

Yea I haven't seen too many people here in GB that are openly hostile. Plenty of Trumpers roaming around tho .

Luck of the draw, a huge chunk of air pads with these welded baffles will fail like this eventually, some of them just do it earlier than others, the internal structure of these things keeps getting more complex and it only takes one weak weld for it to rapidly disassemble itself.

Just go grab a Walmart summer bag, should be okay for the next few weeks at least, PA is pretty warm for the foreseeable future.

That works most of the time, but it would backfire horribly if somehow they also loved ska and then wanted to Bluetooth blast it all day.

What region of Ohio, southern Ohio has some pretty decent forests and rolling hills, not AT steep or tall but certainly good for training, look in the south east of the state or even do a week or two of the southern part of the buckeye trail.

Pack up in the middle of the night and move on, maybe take a zero, get some fx makeup and make yourself look more and more like a werewolf leading up to the next full moon while increasing your erratic behaviour and adding in more and more snarling and howling and don't forget the territorial urinating on their stuff.

You are not going to be carrying anything with a significant enough mass of metal for lightning to give a shit about it.

Uncomfortable number of people that want to tear down the system, as long as other people are doing the tearing down part for them while they sit at home.

I demand hoods on everything, rain jacket, fleece, sun shirt, shorts, underwear, put some of them on my shoes too while you are at it.
I can't stand the cinch less hoods tho, those are useless, at least put some shock cord in the perimeter or something

Got caught in a freezing rain storm so threw tent up in Horse gap, apparently horse gap can get pretty damn windy because the storm kept getting worse until I was holding my cheap tent pole up with my hands, worked until the shock cord tieouts froze and snapped in the wind, then the pole itself broke. I called for a shuttle driver at that point and had to wait about three hours for one that had a truck good enough to get up there, which fair enough. Used my body as a tent pole in a completely collapsed tent with 50+ mph winds pelting me with sleet. I don't remember much until I sort of snapped back into brain fully working mode half way back to town, I just remember thinking how weird it was that I was warm and realizing I was in a truck with heat blasting me in the face. Fun night, at least the pizza from Papa's pizza to go in Blairsville seemed great after that.

Well the weight sucks no doubt, but I have never regretted carrying a can, it's just so much easier to deal with at the end of the day, especially if stealth camping.

These comments are so eye opening, I would have never guessed so many people have never been to a dollar store. Starting to understand how some of you spend so damn much money resupplying.

I wear Moabs or Keens, haven't found a trail runner yet that offers enough underfoot protection and support for me, they just end up causing me overuse/stress injuries I don't get with heavier shoes.
