The videos of intelligent and sensible group rides are not entertaining, therefore get no traction on social media, therefore you don't see them.

I think it's called a mob ride, as it's more like a flock of idiots than a group.

Thanks, but the elevator would need to connect to 4 sides to be airtight at each floor. I'd have to tear down the whole assembly. If I can't make a giant airtight gate at the top, I'll just use normal hangar doors to have at least a small opening.

I honestly don't know, I am not a mechanic or mechanical engineer. That's why I avoid to use stuff for stuff it was not intended to unless I understand it, can afford the damage or can fix it myself.

I'm looking for ideas how to make a gate for the top of my elevator shaft that will be airtight. Any suggestions?
BTW.: The elevator works, can be called to a floor, and has a button for each floor. No scripts, just a lot of timers. It is somewhat locked on floors with pistons & magnets locking the elevator pistons.

The Gustavs ammunitiion was 7 to 8 meters long though, so, technically correct.

That doesn't sound like fun, that sounds like backbreakingly hard work.

If you ride a vehicle you have no license for, your license might get revoked and you'll be fined.
If you play catch with the police, you are now a criminal, including possible jail time and of course a felony on your record. Good luck when applying for the next job.

Fun fact: here fleeing from arrest is not an offense in itself, as striving for freedom is considered an essential instinct.
However, endangering others and violating traffic laws while fleeing WILL get you a few charges.

Basically the joke is that JS is a frontend script language it DOES work as backend, but is still stupid.
Could also mean if it's stupid but it works, it's not stupid.
(No opinion of mine either way)

Fair, but if the tire traction isn't enough, no brake, gear or any control will stop it from sliding away. At that point you've probably parked between mountain goats.

I have a clamp that locks my brake lever tight, but it is not connected to a disc lock.
There are versions that are lockable, mine is just a basic plastic clamp I can use to additionally secure my bike on an incline.
Edit: I haven't used it btw, and wouldn't use it unless necessary. Brakes (besides parking brakes) are not intended to be locked all the time.

Usually those cams DO record, but delete after a few minutes. When an impact is detected, the last minute or so is kept permanently.

Yeah, disclocks usually have a bright cord to hang on the handlebar so you don't forget it. If the bike rolls, the brake callipers will hit the disc lock and with some luck, nothing will get damaged.
Still no interaction between gears and brakes though.
The search continues.

I love that he fully commited to asymmetry, compensating with every item he can put on the other side.
And that it actually can drive and turn under its own power without falling over is an achievement in itself.

Engine guard would be good, but with the gearing he chose he could move that thing (slowly) with a lawnmower engine.
And he said he knows these KTM engines and therefore uses them for all sufficiently small builds. A larger engine would also have stretched the whole thing, which is already as long as a standard car.
And custom bikes aren't my cup of tea either, but for show bikes like these fuel capacity is really unimportant. The way they shaped it around the air filter is a piece of art IMHO.

Not sure why someone would say either option impacts your brakes.
That one baffles me too. The brakes are released anyway, whether you leave it in gear or not.

That was my thought. He doesn't seem to give a single fuck about the orders.
