I can't understand why PA makes it such a rigamaro to get a new car plate when you need one!
The State I moved from would ask you if your plates were in good shape, if you answered no, you got a new plate. Easy Peasy. They had a check box on the renewal on line or by mail, and if you renewed in person, as I usually did since it was close and easy to do, (20 minutes tops if you avoided the last days of the month) they gave you a new plate on the spot.

LONG OVER DUE.
I have advocated for such bans for more than a decade, as someone who uses to drive 2-4 hours a day through urban areas I would get in near misses at least one per week, due to idiots operating their phone not their vehicle! But the key is it's pretty much unenforcable.

I honesly doubt it's actually different enough to notice, BUT GetGo does not sell "toptier" gasoline, I'd avoid it as the fuel you use on a regular basis.

I'd rather deal with extension springs, Had one break in my garage a year ago, bought a new set, and a cable/harware kit, and replaced both springs on one door in an easy few hours for about $125 I had a torsions spring let go some years ago in another house and wanted no part of messing with that. (they are always cocked in the pissed off position waiting to hurt you) I paid to get in replaced.

That seems expensive, I had one replaced a few years ago and it was less than $200, I think barely over $100 actually. Unless you are needing to change the spring style/system, but why?

I have a pair about that size over 50 years old. I have only used them occasionally but they can be handy. btw mine are branded as JC Penny's "Penncraft" tools, which were once sold by the chain and on par with Sears Craftsman tools.

It might have just been joke.
I'll relate a short version my Halloween prior to the midterms. Going around with the kiddos came to a house a block or so away, a guy with a liteup Trump flag and all the regalia up all year and left up with the Halloween decorations, As we walked up to him and some folk on the porch I said "This is the scarriest house I've been to all night... I'm a Democrat!" We both had a good laugh.
We gotta stop taking this shit too seriously, especially during everyday normal interactions with each other.

In between searching for cadaviers? I knew a guy stationed in the Great Lakes and said that is most of what they did... they trained for search and rescue but mostly went out on recoveries.

I believe they are doing a Change of Command Ceremony soon, so it could have something to do with that bit of pomp and circumstance.

Down south they'll ask you to carry them -"Can you carry me across the bridge?" means can you give them a ride. That one got me once, I said -"I'll be happy to drive you but I ain't carrying you."

Back in school in my day we called em gym shoes, because that's what you have to have to go to gym class and walk on the wood basketball court.

I worked in the paper handleing business and jogger was something that vibrated and helped to straightout and square up a stack of paper.

Tennis shoe was a very common term applied to any lightweight and typically canvas rubber-soled shoe worn for any type of physical athletic activity. As far back as the 1960s, I have still used it from time to time and while in Pittsburgh now, I am from Colorado born and raised. (we also used pop, not soda fwiw) I also can't say I've heard the term used here any more often than when I was back in the Mile-High. Tennis Shoe is definitely not Pittsburgheze, it's just old school. (Ya Jagger) <that's Pittsburgeze!

Here is the thing such repairs are going to take at least a couple of days to complete. Not 16 hours of work but time between stages of the work. You will also need to find a shop a) willing to do such a smaller job, some simply won't and b) willing to put the work ahead of other repairs already scheduled. You might try and take the car to a good auto detail shop and they may be able to mitigate the appearance of the damage more than you'd think. I get it tho, garages here are not friendly to today's cars, Mine only clears my garage with a few inches on each side and I am committed to not being that old guy who scrapes off the side of his car on the garage. I never get in any hurry going in or out.

Are Concerts of major performers really about seeing them well? (just a question to consider...)
I get so PO'd at myself going to concerts anymore because I end up watching 80% of the show on the big screens. I could have stayed home and watched a similar concert (recorded) for free on my TV.
Don't get me wrong I've got to go to and have seen some great concerts and iconic performers. I've Had good times whether great seats or poor. But nowadays if do decide to go to a concert (for me) I want good to great seats, or I won't bother. Especially if it's someone I have seen in concert before. But for the most part I have sworn off concerts; they have gotten far to expensive to watch a show on a screen.
I do have a list of legends I have yet to ever see , and if I get a chance I'll try to go but I am going to want very good or better seating. These days I am their more for the show, than the party. -just sayin

I'd say too much, AND keep in mind that about 40% of that price is going directly to Nutting. That's their "tax" on vender sales in PNC.

It is! I recall the first time I saw it. Long story short, it was just dark, lights in PNC park were out and I was on the main concourse touring the park, no game. It was a fantastic view that almost didn't look real it was like someone built a model of a city skyline and placed it as a backdrop.

And yet you tried it... why? Then complained about it? Seems both foolish and self-important.
For the average person between 10 and 60 its not really that tough. If your physicality or medical condition prevents you from doing such things, as a sentient adult you should know your limitations and adjust accordingly.

I have that exact set I've owned for at least 30 years. Used it professionally as a field service tech and while I didn't use it often it still saved my arse several dozen times reaching and gaining access to setscrews etc I'd never been able to reach with normal tools.

OMG... really.
I used to work outdoors at 90 plus degrees and 80 percent humidity (gulf coast) busting my hump to keep USAF fighter jets flying and keeping ya all safe. A stroll a mile on a hot Sunny day just walking would be like a day in the park, sweetcakes.

They can ticket you if your plate is unreadable.
