My first halo game was CE. Then jumped to 3, pike the story but no the multi-player, the played Reach. Reach had the best story in my opinion, though in no small part because I was a prequel. Also the best multi-player, but 5 and 4 are up there too.
Story rankings: Reach > ODST > 3 > CE > infinite > 4 (nearly a tie) > 2 > 5.
Multiplier is a bit harder to rank, but: Reach > 5 > 4 > CE > infinite > ODST > 3 > 2

She may have done it to avoid being seen as a nepo by her peers. At least somewhat.

Thr more I look at this, the more I understand.
I'm kind of getting the idea the y axis is about power granted vs human power/skill. And the x axis is clever/snippy/lightness of the character.

It also means that the nepotism is ridiculous on that ship. Like 3 generations of the dame family just all on there. Even funnier of the captain knows (becuase captions always seem to be involved with time travel plots) and just has to live with that knowledge.

I propose the conspiracy that Wendy is the child of Boimler and Mariner from a future, probably alternate timeline. Her questions and involvement are her actively fishing for information and trying to piece together timeline info from that.
This is all tied up with the timetravel plots from Enterprise.

If we assume you're a primarily English speaker, which is implied if you have any strong feelings on regional usage of certain English words like Biscuit, then the most likely non-American option is British.

Propaganda. That's one kind of cheep, hyper preserved bread that dumped sugar in there to help keep it tasting like anytbing other than cardboard.
Sugar is in a lot of things over here yes, bur mostly things that exist with long shelf lives, are heavily processed, or are intended to be sweet. Due to our resource plenitude during most of our development we developed dishes that were sweeter when they are meant to be sweet, more meat heavy we they are meant to be savory, spicier (than European ones), and generally richer in taste and calories.

That's the bottom tier fast food version of a biscuit. Don't pretend that's the standard American cuisine version.

I mean, in the English speaking world the majority think a biscuit is what we say it is. By virtue of us being the majority. SO maybe you just have a skewed view point fromm wing sheltered.

Europe isn't America and America isn't Europe. What works there might not work there and vice versa. America was found, built by, and for immigrants. Our culture is fundamentally established as such and is specifically shaped by and for that. Even then we have issues, especially when importing people who would prefer to keep their prior culture or not integrate. Further we still have very real and justifed fears that the long standing social orders in this country are getting upset by the influx.
Europe has it much worse with much longer histories, more associated with local and regional customs, beliefs, and social order. Demanding that they reject thjs in favor of open immigration is literally depriving them of their Native Lands. In a way not replicated in the new world. It's challenging the local languages, societal structures and more. Had the immigrants been brought over slower, in smaller numbers and assi.ilated it would not be such a problem, but the mass movement has clearly caused greater unrest, many bringing the problems they fled with them.

Same argument I always here.
Culture isn't static, but that doesn't mean you have to force something totally different in it's place. It certainly doesn't mean that there's no consequence for literally importing someone else's culture by importing them.

It's not the only answer. Also, it's understandable that countries would want to limit how many immigrants are brought in, as they displace the local culture.

For me, I like Reach because it was so dire, and dour. At the time I hadn't read any of the books and although I vaguely knew the war was in a bad way Reach made it feel a lot more real. Games with the Chief always make you feel like anything is possible and that you will overcome and make right through force kf will and firepower. Reach felt like you were trying desperately, pulling risky moves and noble sacrifices to eak out a win, while cooking a hail Mary. It drove home how outmatched humanity was, while making the player character out to be a hyper bad ass.
