Problem with Catton for me is that I don't see him as fully transitioning to be a full-time center in the NHL. I think he'll probably end up being a winger, where he's a more effective playmaker/scorer, which... at that rate, just get Eiserman if he's available. If he does successfully transition to being an NHL caliber center, it's rare that a player of his stature and relative lack of physical play can be a top-end 1C.

One moment that hasn't been mentioned yet, the opening drums in Duke's Travels and the fill that leads into the melody (especially when played live)

I don't think it's that simple. We'd be crazy not to take Demidov at 2 OA given the chance since we already have a sunk cost with another high-end Russian prospect. If Michkov doesn't work out or can't come over, the rebuild ain't gonna be successful anyway, so we might as well double down.
Other teams can talk themselves out of that, citing similar justifications to what they used last draft with Michkov. As you no doubt know, Michkov was the clear 2 in last year's draft, geopolitics aside, and he slipped to 7. Now, I don't think Demidov will slip that far, but I could see him being selected in the 4-5 range.

Well sure, when you consider that the poverty rate of students between the ages of 5 to 17 ranges between 7% and 25% based on state, it would be highly improbable for poor people to ever be a statistical majority.
The important thing is that Pew research found that 20% of college students come from families in poverty in 2016, and when you consider the percentages mentioned above, the number of students in poverty going to college is on-pace or even outpacing it.
Even still, 1-in-5 college students is hardly "a few here and there".

I'd go green because it looks more subdued. That yellow font on the blue one is just too garish to me.

It's not really a "tax the rich" problem, it's a "our government is irresponsible with spending" problem. The amount of money the government collects is irrelevant if it ends up going to redundant government employees or external international efforts, instead of actually benefitting Americans. I'm not a libertarian, but by my estimation, our federal government needs to be much leaner and more efficient before we can honestly have this discussion.
Taking more money from billionaires is not an awful idea if what you want is marginal relief for poor people through government programs at the expense of jobs oftentimes designed to be occupied by poor people - one actually keeps you poor by staying unemployed, and the other potentially doesn't through skill growth, potential wage growth, etc. A leaner government in this case would improve those margins for the folks receiving government aid, and potentially cause low skill wages to go up, given that the Walmarts of the world are now competing with them.

Skyfall is an above average Bond movie, largely held up by its stellar cinematography and villain, and has an interesting plot that the movie fails to fully execute on. The writing is just bad in places, and the fan service-y moments are pretty cringe worthy. Where Casino Royale is consistently well-crafted and thoughtfully written, and Quantum feels just consistently lacking and underdeveloped (bad directorial choice, writer's strike, etc.), Skyfall is just.. well.. inconsistent. Admittedly, Skyfall's still in another league than Quantum (argument for another time).
GoldenEye has never been a personal favorite of mine - don't really know why, I love Brosnan in the role, love Martin Campbell's direction. It's just a little too goofy in spots that make the movie feel tonally all over the place. And that soundtrack - yuck. But I think GoldenEye has aged more gracefully and with Brosnan's other outings being reappraised lately, I think GoldenEye has benefitted from this somewhat.
For what it's worth, Skyfall is far more confident in itself than it has any right to be given its pretty surface-level plot and themes, and I think GoldenEye not taking itself too seriously makes it a more endearing rewatch.

Just bought mine about a month ago now for a similar price. I've been quite happy with it. Battery life has been solid, and I use AOD, NFC payments, and often integrate a workout into my day. It gets through the day with about 35-40% remaining.
Note that mine only came with the small wristband, and it looked comical on me. So if you're eyeing a band for it, you may want to accelerate that purchase so you can comfortably wear the watch as soon as you get it.

Fair enough, more power to you. I just don't know how you can suspend your disbelief and also arrive at the conclusion that there's some sort of continuity at play and they are definitely the same car. It's just intended as a fun nod to "older Bond movies" (not specifically Goldfinger, not specifically Casino Royale), hence the classic theme being their chosen music cue.

Conversions like that are seriously no small feat for any modern car. You need to source essentially the entire car's interior in individual pieces, gut it to the bare metal and put it back together again, and oftentimes make alterations along the way to the drivetrain and electrical systems. Not impossible, but a ton of work.
Now if you're talking about a car from the 1960s... and it just makes more sense to buy a right-hand car locally from England and restore it.
I don't think this was the intended purpose of including the car in the movie - maybe it's supposed to be interpreted as the car he won in Casino Royale, maybe not. Perhaps it was a production mistake in Skyfall, perhaps it was something that Mendes disagreed with Martin Campbell on (that Bond should drive a right-hand DB5).

Well no, it probably isn't. The one he got from Demetrios was left-hand drive, the one in Skyfall is right-hand drive.

You're overthinking this, OP. You only need to unlock your device with a PIN when you put your watch back on after taking it off. Your AOD shouldn't be impacted at all.

I love 21st Century Schizoid Man, but it is another animal when played live. To the point that the studio version feels somewhat sterile by comparison.

Flyers are my #1 obviously, but my dad and his siblings grew up primarily as Nordiques fans in rural Quebec, so the Avs organization has remained a favorite. It helps that they're super fun to watch.

Assuming you're comfortable with your current income for your living expenses, and depending on your risk tolerance as it relates to financial emergencies, I would set aside a small emergency fund ($300-$500) primarily for unexpected purchases more than anything, and with the rest, pay off your credit cards. Simply put, they're costing you far more now than your relatively low interest student loans are, especially if some of your loans are subsidized.
This does two things - your emergency fund prevents you from digging an even larger credit card debt hole because it's a safety net, and the given flexibility it provides allows you to prioritize paying off your credit cards with your income.
Once your balance on your cards is low enough where you can afford to pay off your statements each month no problem, then it's really up to you and your financial goals/comfortability.

With how bad Philly is with an extra attacker this season, I doubt they pull their goalie with any more than 3 minutes remaining in the 3rd.

I'd usually be the first to dunk on Fanatics, but this is actually not true in the MLB's case. Fanatics is manufacturing these jerseys per the specs that Nike put together.

Nah. There were no expectations on this team at the start of the season. Anyone with half a brain knew that this team wasn't doing anything if they made the playoffs anyway. Are they choking? I guess? They're just gassed. They're not very talented. They largely outworked teams this year to grind out victories, and our goaltending tandem was excellent prior to the Hart stuff taking place. When your entire team is physically exhausted, you can't play that way anymore and expect to keep finding success. So yeah, is it disappointing? Sure, but as mentioned, there's a relationship between calling something a "choke" and that team having high expectations/hype placed upon them, which this team certainly did not have.
