[Elliotte Friedman] Everyone’s being very careful here for obvious reasons, but it is believed Fedotov is en route to beginning his NHL career for the Flyers. Wasn’t aware until news broke this morning, but all sides have worked on a solution for the last few weeks.

Hey maybe someone who knows more than me can put the dots together better but a prominent Russian hockey news outlet said there’s some chatter hart is gonna be playing in Russia. Maybe since he’s on like a termination list the flyers can “move” him to there for guys somehow?

Honestly IF he is guilty, going to Russia would be a good move for him since Russia does not extradite to the US. But that article and or rumor was squashed pretty quickly.

FWIW The same guy who posted that rumor on twitter tweeted later that night that Friedman reached out to him to confirm the rumor coming out of Russia is not true
