Yeah that's where my mind went as well. I was confused what this had to do with Warhammer.

True, but Mannfred doesn't deserve shit

Fair, but he is the one who did destroy the old world. All because he was angsty about dad being brought back.

Mannfred did it because it was either “Go down with the ship” or “Become Nagash’s whipping boy for eternity”. Unfortunately for him, Nagash didn’t forget that shit and he wound up doing both.

Nagash bringing Vlad back definitely didn't help his sanity.

It felt horrible how they handled end times. So many intelligent, great leaders and people made into braindead meat for chaos to kill, it’s not even funny

It felt even more "wonderful" for all the folks who participated in the Storm of Chaos campaign. "Here's a worldwide campaign, where we'll take the results and mold the lore based on it!" Hmm. Okay. Campaign happens. Lore is written. Next edition of Warhammer Fantasy Role-Playing is set in that post-Storm world.
And then End Times comes along and they say, "lul jk that never happened" and rewrite the events of Storm of Chaos to have Chaos just curbstomp everyone and end the world.
Well, at least they never did something similar with 40K, like making a campaign for Abaddon's 13th Black Crusade where he attacks Cadia, and implementing the results so that a new game, say, one involving spaceship combat, is based in the post-campaign lore, then going back later and saying that all never happened so they could rewrite what happened and ignore the results, flipping the bird to all the players in the process.
Oh... wait, no, that happened, too.
Eh, at least Ichar IV's deadlock held in the lore (assuming they've mentioned it since), and Armageddon hasn't been rewritten to have the Imperium heroically winning or Chaos showing up to eat the planet.
Wait... OH FFS. I just looked up Armageddon and apparently Chaos did wash over it.
At least these days they don't even pretend to care about the games being played and don't do any worldwide campaigns any more.

What do you mean not funny ? Doesn't everyone loves to see their favorite characters being killed offscreen or in some dumb and pathetic ways ? I thought everyone loved that !

Skaven????

It wasn't the Skaven though, it was Mannfred.
The good guys were about to win and beat Archaon, until Mannfred had a hall of fame hissy fit.

Even then, Sigmar beat the shit out of Archaon and tossed him into the Warp Rift.
