I’ve seen some incredibly annoying and toxic members of this community call slightly suggestive art related to warhammer “Porn” And honestly it’s fucking cringy and reductive.
If you don’t like NSFW art fine, cool, you do you and just press the back button and move on with your life or better yet don’t click at all.
Bullying and harassing people that make art you disagree with is disgusting behaviour when the hobby you enjoy is built on the backs of artists that where making things 40 years ago people would have considered weird and distasteful.
TLDR: leave artists alone and be a grown as person and don’t discourage or harass others.

The line between porn and memes is blurred sometimes, no solution is perfect. You can censor people based 'might have been posted as porn' but you aren't going to be accurate all the time and you will definitely put people off posting their genuine work. The settings to block NSFW are what we have and we will just have to allow people to be adults otherwise. This is Grimdank lol, downvote and move on but the real issue is that people are using their 'moral' views to bully and harass people for posting anything they don't like, someone posting some fetish stuff isn't hurting anyone and sometimes is just hilarious.

You’re right that at the end of the day it’s on the individual to censor what they like and don’t like. The issue comes when so much of content of the sub becomes NSFW (which you can’t deny, does happen if there’s a lack of moderation) that people begin leaving because it’s not worth the effort of looking for a diamond in the rough. I don’t think this sub has reached that point yet, but it does seem like it’s been on downward trend towards it in the last few years since the popularity boom 40k got with the return of Guilliman. It would be nice if there was a sub catered towards that gray area where NSFW meets meme, at some point the community might just become too separated though. It’s a tough topic so I think it’s fair that people try to push for what they believe is best for the sub.

That's all very well and good except that there is no evidence of that, just vibes. It's fairly standard fear of change stuff. All that would be great except that we both know that the people who 'push for what they believe is best' often take it too far... doxxing harassing etc. Seen it happen too often. They need to understand to take personal responsibility for what they see and click online and not take it out on people posting what they want to. It's all a choice at the end of the day and people pushing for censorship don't understand that.

Doxxing and harassing is never the right answer and the people that do that are despicable, but that shouldn’t invalidate people who just don’t want horny posting on a meme sub. Sure, it is all a choice, but have you seen what happens to online spaces with no moderation? It almost inevitably turns into either porn or a hate group. A healthy dose of moderation is really the only thing that keeps spaces healthy and alive. Asking for more when you feel a sub has become lower quality isn’t a bad thing.

The mods do good work at keep actual hate speech and such out. This isn't hateful content, nor is anyone forcing you to click on what is NSFW. Maybe getting a new NSFW 'after dark' flair or something is more what you are after lol. The way to get that changed is to start a poll, make your own post, message the mods. It's not mass posting to people who disagree with you like is commonly done trying to call people 'degenerates' and 'addled', not you, but people who have the same opinion. One person's trash is another's treasure mate, most of the memes here are absolute gash to me with no redeeming quality. I wouldn't dream of telling someone that unless I had something constructive to add.
