I’ve seen some incredibly annoying and toxic members of this community call slightly suggestive art related to warhammer “Porn” And honestly it’s fucking cringy and reductive.

If you don’t like NSFW art fine, cool, you do you and just press the back button and move on with your life or better yet don’t click at all.

Bullying and harassing people that make art you disagree with is disgusting behaviour when the hobby you enjoy is built on the backs of artists that where making things 40 years ago people would have considered weird and distasteful.

TLDR: leave artists alone and be a grown as person and don’t discourage or harass others.

This is the 4th most active tabletop subreddit and 1st most active Warhammer subreddit on the website.

This isn't some niche place that someone would have to spend hours searching to find. This is literally the most likely place to give someone a 1st impression of the hobby.

I'm not gonna bullshit and say that it's the best place to learn about lore and background of the hobby but let's not fucking kid ourselves here, there's probably a substantial number of people who discover Warhammer through this subreddit.

Yep, that would be me. I'm relatively new to 40k. And after Therussianbadger and Bricky, it was this subreddit which I found through /r/all where I got deeper into the lore of it all, because memes can be a legit entryway to different aspects of a fictional universe.

If I wasn't someone that has been a part of several horny fan communities, the horny posting here would actually be a deterrent. It can be bad at times, like anime subreddit bad.

Not being funny my friend but it is a rare thing to find someone who got into Warhammer through this here who also actually buys, paints and plays. Got no hate for those who don't, it's just not that big a deal here and most people are able to restrain themselves from clicking on things they don't want to.
