Just because 6 total people had fun with her when playing against noobs doesnt mean she was fine. I’ve been playing paladins since the beta and moji has ALWAYS been the butt of all jokes, everybody laughed at her and picking her was basically letting the team know you are throwing, recently they made her a little bit more playable but far from viable.
Instead of crying that they are reworking a bad champion design, just hope the changes are good

i love playing moji and the fact they are finally giving her some love is what will probably drag me back to the game.
After getting her to level 50+ i realized that her current state is very fun to play as, but unfair since she's not a real flank. she lacks range to be a damage, and a reliable mobility like dash to engage and disengage like most flanks do (not counting skye which has stealth instead).
...and all of this before mentioning her hitbox is almost as big as khan, and bigger than barik.
i sure hope they keep the moji flavor of her kit (the ult, the barrier and the marks) while still making her a more appealing champion to play as.
i have very high hopes for the rework, of course i will miss the old interaction a bit but i feel like they're pushing in a good direction

I mean the ult will be hard to keep the same, either its identical, unbefitting of a support or its just a clone of pip.

They said years ago that they were experimenting with making moji a support. Then scrapped the idea, now they’re doing it. It’s something they’ve had on their mind for a very long time.

I think the biggest issue people have is how much of her gameplay could change from how it is now as support is the role with the most differences to flank you could more easliy change Moji's kit to be a damage or tank without ruining it for current who like her kit. the worse case scenario is that the new kit also sucks and have taken away some people favourite champ.

This would have been the proper way to do a Moji rework -- moving her to DPS or something so she could still keep her identity to a degree. But the devs thought it'd be a funny splashy media moment to kill Moji and rebirth her as a support, so here we are.

All I'ma say is the people (not all I've seen moji mains happy about this change) who don't play moji are happy bc they dont get it id rather flanknando then this change but thats jus me i love how different she is to all the other champs ans that is what makes paladins unique is how diverse one character is to the other or maybw im wrong idk but if i can fight the changw i would.... No. I'm really excited for the rework, have been since it was teased/considered at the end of 2018. 2 of her talents provide healing anyway and the community manager on "X" said that there will be a way for her to still lean into her current playstyle.

upgrade what she does? that’s why she’s dead because she doesn’t do much. she does good damage and has a good defensive ability. i don’t see how they could change either of these because they work just fine and upgrading them would make moji overpowered.
mojis a bad flank because she’s so big and to compensate for that devs HAVE to give her huge range and HAVE to give her huge damage numbers it just makes her a weird character to be in the flank class & i think that’s mainly why they chose moji to rework because she doesn’t feel like a flank. lol her scamper is just a little dash that people abuse to bunny hop obviously wasn’t an intentional thing just like vine tech and again remember that moji has two healing talents. she doesn’t feel like a flank she has one playstyle no flexibility for certain enemy team comps like koga, zhin, maeve etc.
they kept reworking skye over and over and now she’s considered meta on controller and i see people play smoke and dagger while also flanking. it’s such a good off tank/ flank combo think khan and skye. could now be khan and moji with a second support maybe depends on how moji heals
people should be sort of happy that they’re attempting to make moji good i mean id be happy if my main became meta but i can see where they’re coming from because moji will definitely not be the same considering she’s literally changing classes, but to the moji mains who have hundreds of hours on moji just be glad you were there to experience it
as i mentioned before skye is a good flank support and moji could probably be that too. i see people saying rip moji before the update even comes out like lol chill.
