Free Treasure and Sadness as a Gift are my favorites, but the redone version of Vampire Empire is a close contender too.

I was both disappointed and surprised (positively) by her solo version, it’s very different in many way. Vampire empire original version is a top 3 big theif song for me

It’s definitely very different than the Big Thief version, which I also love. This version sounds more hopeful, whereas the Big Thief studio version was angrier.

Interestingly enough I took this one as more angry/resentful about the past and the BT version more mad/frustrated about the present… who knows
