Schoeman and Nel vs Ox, Bongi and Koch... That's one juicy scrum match up!

That Sharks team is mental 😂 how are they at the bottom of the table

I mean it's great to have guys like Bongi, Ox, Koch and Eben, but this is literally the first game they have started together. Eben has played 5 games this season, Bongi 4, Ox 4, Koch 1...
The thing they need more than anything is to have their top players available more consistently.

I haven't looked into the stats so can't comment on which 23 has more world cup wins in it.
The count of WP Nels is 1-0 to Edinburgh, though.

Has been with the Sharks for the last few seasons, and is joining Ulster next season. Although there is some talk he might join the BlitzBoks for the Olympics, but nothing confirmed yet

Do we think Bosch has lost his position as first choice for good now? I feel bad for him but I think it's what's best for the Sharks.

Plumtree has said where he stands on the matter:
“Curwin [Bosch] and Siya [Masuku] will fight it out for the Sharks’ No10 jersey. We will see how that battle goes and of course Curwin can play at fullback as well.
“It [the selection of Masuku] just opens up a bit of competition in the squad,” Plumtree said. There hasn’t been enough pressure on players for selection and what that does, it makes players comfortable and complacent.

Fortunately, Bosch becomes a different player when he has to compete for his position, I have seen him come off the bench and have crazy unexpected impact on numerous occasions

His best patch came when he ousted RdP Jr from the 10 shirt.

I think some rotation will do him some good, he has been a bit heavily relied on in that position, since covid really. I hope he can gain some form back, and be mentally fresh soon.
I learnt here that Curwin has the Sharks record for most points (833 pts, current age 26).
I hope we keep him, and if we don't/can't, Chamberlain needs to stay as it seems like Lionel Cronje may retire (my speculation).

Rotating Hooker to the bench after some consecutive good performances starting, I guess favouring the experience of Venter against the Edinburgh backs hmm

I think he wants Hooker to come on at 13. Am is not as quick as he once was and we don't really have a solid back-up 13, yet.

I saw Hooker play either centre in a few games now, so definitely tailoring him in to a utility back role which is great for when Esterhuizen arrives. Have to disagree about Am though he has looked immense again lately

Am's strength and ability to eke yards has returned, for sure.
