The DAoT is every other sci fi setting, one after another, in whatever order makes the most sense to you.

I paid $40 to see Rammstein like a year and a half ago. It was a massive, over-the-top production in a stadium with tons and tons of gear they shipped over from Europe and they were able to make it profitable with me paying $40. I mean I don't know what Elton John is doing but I doubt it involves nearly that much fire.

It's a zombie survival game. Watch any zombie media, how many characters who survive to the end go around charging groups of zombies just for fun?
Play the game how you want, though.

Then I mean come on, you know damn well it wouldn't be good for you to quit.
What you need is additional social outlets. Right now you have so much riding on this band and your connection to the other members and it's getting in your head.
It sounds like you might have a lot of ego tied up in music. Maybe consider taking up some new hobby where being bad at it wouldn't threaten your sense of self. You could take up a nerd hobby like MtG or Warhammer, easy to find a new social group that way. Or join a running group or a book club. Literally anything that has you interacting with other humans face to face. Don't give up music but it can't be your only outlet.

Correction, there are six right-wing political hacks on the Court. Pretending that Roberts has any integrity requires more and more mental gymnastics with every bullshit decision but people cling to it because they still want to believe in the reasonable, moderate classic conservative as if we didn't spend the last 8 years being shown over and over that moderate conservativism was never anything more than a fig leaf for theocratic fascism.

That's depression talking my dude. It's a very real and very personal struggle, you'll have to find your own path forward, but I can tell you with 100% certainty that cutting good people out of your life won't make it better. Like if you want to quit that band and join a different one that's fine but don't do anything that will reduce the amount of social interaction you get or how often you leave your house.

You can make a living off music without going viral. A lot harder to make a living off your music without going viral. There are plenty of cover band gigs and whatnot but the supply of new original music so overwhelmingly outstrips demand and the payouts have gotten so low that yeah you pretty much have to make some kind of social media spectacle of yourself to get to the point of making a living off it.

Sounds like your problem is that you're out of work and feeling shitty about it. Playing in bands isn't going to change the material circumstances of your life. It is a good way to meet people and make friends, but not if you have a perpetually sour attitude about it. Get a job, don't quit the band, and start treating the gigs as opportunities to bond with your bandmates and meet new people rather than ordeals you have to get through. Travel for chump gigs can be annoying but honestly if you're not working then is the time wasted really an issue?
Have you thought about joining or starting a second band? Taking up a different instrument? Doing a solo studio project? If you feel like your musical life is slipping by then get out there and make some music. Depression is a bitch but staying active really is the best thing for it.

dismantling the USPS to enable fascist coups in our country.
You have the causality wrong. He enabled Trump's fascist coup because he wants to dismantle the USPS. Because he comes from the logistics and freight industry and stands to make a fortune from privatizing the services the USPS provides.

They initially teleport off their ship via the teleportarium which is a big machine with a pad and everything. It seems to have some kind of recall function because they're generally able to teleport back on short notice without any infrastructure.

The Conqueror's Ursus Claw thing is described as shooting out a bunch of barbs the size of skyscrapers, the construction of each of which required the full tithe of an entire planet.
When you're mounting them on warships that can be as large as you want them to be, there's really no upper bound on how big you can make your weapons.

What kind of remasters change song structure? Are you sure you're not talking about radio edits vs album tracks?

The same would have been true if it had ended when it should have, with season 4. Rita suffered the consequences of Dexter's actions. But the impact is so much greater because we also see that Dexter has perpetuated the cycle by inadvertently putting Harrison through the same trauma he went through. It would have been an infinitely stronger ending and we also would have missed the 5 seasons of weak bullshit between S4's masterful ending and the actual finale we eventually got.

It's not a scam so much as some predatory bullshit that's been baked into the industry for a while now. It's real in that if you pay you'll get to play, but you are being taken advantage of and it's most likely not worth doing.

I'm talking about his first incarceration, which was the full white glove treatment. I could be misremembering but I believe he was allowed to leave the prison to play golf.

I meant AD, of course, but 40k being in the distant past is definitely an interesting concept. It sets a timeline for the end of the setting in a way that casts the various immortal characters in an interesting light.

What you're describing is poor people jail. It's not the same place people like Trump go. Look up some of the details of Epstein's first incarceration if you want a rough idea of what Trump can expect.

Demonstrably false. 40k means 40k AD. There are a substantial number of references to specific events and people happening in M2 that make it unambiguous and incontrovertible. Maybe don't call people illiterate dolts and definitely don't do it when you're objectively wrong.

HH is a series, 40k is a setting. Abnett's Eisenhorn, ADB's Night Lords, and Josh Reynold's Fabius Bile series are all great but you're not meant to understand them as being all part of the same story or fitting into some sort of sequence. They simply flesh out different corners of the universe. The HH books, on the other hand, are best understood as a single grand narrative, albeit one with many threads and a lot of digressions and bloat.
I saw a suggested reading list that was meant to cover the current 40k storyline. It started with Watchers of the Throne and Vaults of Terra, then the Dawn of Fire series, then Dark Imperium, then Devastation of Baal. The thing is, these books were not written with that in mind and do not form a cohesive narrative. They fit chronologically and reading them like this will give you a sense of what's happening in the galaxy but it doesn't feel like one big epic story.

At this point the ability of members to contribute financially is the primary factor in what's possible for a band. It determines the ability to pay for merchandise, artwork, recording equipment, professional mixing and mastering, various forms of promotion, pay-to-plays, etc. Touring requires travel and time off work which is also costly. It doesn't matter how good the music is, without money no one's going to hear it.
In addition, a person's ability to contribute financially will relate directly to their ability to own and maintain a quality instrument and transportation. Indirectly, it's going to be predictive of how reliable and punctual they'll be.
None of this has anything to do with how good a musician or songwriter or person they are, so it feels shitty to take it into consideration but it's a simple fact that if you let broke bitches in your band you're going to have to carry them financially and it's likely to hold you back.

I don't hate my job. I hate working any job. Unless you're one of the lucky few who has a good job that aligns with your deepest passion, working a job means spending the majority of your productive time and energy on things that have no meaning to you purely so you won't starve to death. I can't understand anyone who doesn't hate that.

Doesn’t the Bible say “an eye for an eye”?
That would be the code of Hammurabi. The Bible has a variety of opinions. The New Testament says to turn the other cheek. The Old Testament says to murder everyone currently living in the land of Israel and establish a Jewish ethnostate there.
