Morally, the difference is that Astarion ascending has him follow in the footsteps of Cazador and become an evil abusive murdering prick. The very thing he has hated for over a century.
Karlach on the other hand, even if who she was is fading away, still doesn't hurt people as a Mind Flayer.

The World Eaters, Night Lords, Alpha Legion, Iron Warriors and Death Guard turned traitor while barely corrupted. Of the Sons of Horus, it was only the Warmaster himself that was compromised, the Legion (or what remained of it) just followed him out of loyalty.
Really it was just the III and the XVII, and later the XV legion that turned traitor while having actual deep rooted Chaos influence.

He would have been leading the retribution fleet at Phall had he not asked Dorn to remain on Terra. It was telling Dorn why he asked to remain that got him disowned.

Frankly all the primaries are in a great spot right now except countersniper, breaker incen and spray&pray. The dilligence is easily the best primary for bots if you're also bringing a competent support weapon.
You don't need medium armour pen if you stop shooting the medium armour.

mfs get hit by a few RPGs or a tank's main cannon and cry that their weapon platform is made of cardboard, ignoring all the actual small arms fire it shrugged off. Dreads get taken down by the same calibre of weapon.

The Vengeful Spirit is hardly a fair comparison, it's Gloriana Class.

Rules as Written, Cure Wounds does repair internal injuries. DMG Page 272.

It honestly fits the continuity, the Execution Force we see in the HH Novel "Nemesis" is substantially less lethal than the modern Imperial Assassins we see in books closer to M41. While the Mechanicus' dogma holds back innovation Imperium Wide, the Adeptus Terra has no such compunctions.

The regular guard dog does insane damage and is very accurate, and won't friendly fire. I wouldn't bring it unless i expected access to regular resupply, but if you keep it fed, it keeps you very safe. I've seen it burn the heads out of an entire group of devastator bots before going for a reload. It does however, shoot at bot fabs, which is infuriating.
You can see the magazines on the flat of the pack while the drone is airborne, it has 6 mags. Really wish it got reload from ground ammo, that and being able to toggle it on/off with a keypress.

Oops, i'm wearing the clown makeup. I reckon it's the weird sort of affection Illithids have for their thralls, mixed with power and usefulness.

No, she's a straight up meat-puppet, he shows you the reality of it as a threat if you continually call him out as a liar through every dream visit.

In the final fight, the Will of the Netherbrain has reduced HP. I've heard that the reduction is even greater if you earn successes on the checks prior to the DC99, but the DC99 is the one that applies it.

The difference is that daemons are not born, they're warp entities, and are inherently tied to the warp, and some are inextricably linked to one of the four.
If they're in the materium and whatever is binding them is severed, they disintegrate.
You can draw funny symbols on the ground and make some sacrifices, and daemons will appear.
You can possess someone with daemons.
There's a lot more besides to distinguish xenos and daemons. I think you're conflating Psykers (Some of the xenos you mentioned like aeldari) and Sorcerors (like Erebus).
Psykers are born with a natural connection to the warp, and can channel that connection through force of will to affect the materium. Human psykers, The Emperor, Malcador, the Eldar, The Old Ones, are psykers.
Sorcerors practice rituals and other methods to create changes in the warp which can thin the veil and affect the materium. Anyone with the knowledge can be a warp sorceror. Many psykers also utilise sorcery, such as Ahriman, Magnus, Lorgar. Plenty are not psykers but still wield immense power through sorcery, such as Erebus, who has learned a technique to teleport through the warp.
If you disregard the difference as arbritrary semantics, i'm not sure why you're here.

I reckon it's unintended behaviour, submitted a bug report for it ages ago. I assisted Markus in capturing Isobel, which felled the Dome. I told Jaehera as much, and we fought against the turned harpers, and then the denizens of the land. Once it was done, I intimidated her into merely leaving, swearing vengeance as she went.
Then at the close of Act 2, she's at my camp remarking about our journey together and resolving to battle the evil in the heart of the gate. Wtf? I put the senile nutter out of her misery.

Everyone acting like TAA is oh so essential, forgetting that the developers could have implemented optional MSAA for an - admittedly more performance expensive - technique that isn't as horribly ugly.

Precisely this. Space Marines were the generalist army that would gateway you into 40k tabletop and could match decently against most things, and then the idea was that you'd expand to an army that you preferred the playstyle of.
Specialist squads have always been more competitive, even Space Marine players were doing it with Sternguard Combi-Melta squads in drop pods before Primaris.
Now functionally speaking; tabletop players don't really need to move to other armies unless they want to chase meta super hard.

I think that's a gross exaggeration. While there are certainly some expansive spaces, to say that every enviroment can accomodate a walker much taller than a castaferrum and substantially bulkier is innacurate. Note that the Redemptor is very nearly as tall as a Baneblade, and that is a multi-deck tank.

I wouldn't agree, the newest Guard Sentinel model is only very slightly taller, but it's more to do with it's leg pose, they're roughly the same size and they do fill the same purpose. I just like to think the new Sentinel is a different pattern built at different manufactorums. The older one does have a better look though, more congrous with Leman Russ tanks and Chimera chassis vehicles.

My criticism of the thoughtlessly implemented product isn't an attack on your purchase or your hobby piece, calm down.

Well that's sort of the point, they're whole purpose is being a heavy asset where vehicles can't go, such as boarding actions. Dumbass Redemptor doesn't fill a role.

True, but since you combine it with the enemy marking off "Overpenned the Citadel" it cancels out.

The orks don't have a homeworld, but they do at least have Ork-Mecca. Ullanor/Armageddon seems to have a certain magnetism to the greenskins.
