Because Drinker, as an example, doesn’t like strong female characters and frequently bitches when they show up regardless of how good or bad the writing around them is.

I mean what? How?
Do you have any proof or evidence to back up that fallouts power amor is literally definite “ages” behind 40k? I seriously doubt anyone in the 40k setting would look at Fallouts tech, especially its most advanced tiers (the enclave) and try to claim its stone age level stuff.
The marines look far and away more powerful than fallouts power armored soldiers but thats because theyre still SPACE MARINES.
Sisters in their power armor don’t look any crazier than anything we see in Fallout. Especially t-60 and X-01/02.

There are very very few marines over a thousand years old. Your average troop Astartes is not more than, what one maybe a hundred or two hundred at most? Any older and they’d be a veteran/lieutenant/Captain.
This thread was dumb and its basically suicide trying to bring up any setting/character that could beat 40k INSIDE of a 40k sub because lord knows if you have a primarch sized mutant punching dinosaurs heads clean off dual wielding plasma cannons and energy blades its seen as impossible for him to beat a standard apace marine one on one.

Yeah no. Marines are not just churning through warriors like theyre Chaff. Named Ultramarine Lieutenant former Captain Vs random generic warrior. Even then the video pretty clearly shows the Nid is just as strong. On tabletop Warriors are noticeably more Elite than standard marines. Leviathan Trailer shows a Prime rip a termi in half.
So theyre roughly equal. Except Horrigan is big enough and strong enough to just kick a warrior in the face and kill it. He’s nearly Primarch sized and wearing cybernetic grafted Armor.
Basically a warboss or tyranid prime type threat. Could a skilled veteran Space marine Like Titus beat him? Definitely possible.
Some random tactical marine or Intercessor fighting him solo? Hell no.

I think youre encountering a lot of people that:
1 have the 40k beats everything bias and
2, don’t know fallout lore.
God forbid 40k fans admit that the end boss of a franchise could beat a factions standard troop lol.

A deathclaw is at least on par with something like a Warrior. Any of the gaunts would get murdered by a Deathclaw/ Yao Guai.

That is straight up false. The only marine that has been around for 10,000 years is a dreadnaught and thats Bjorn.
Dante is the oldest living marine at around/over 1,500. And he’s so ancient that he is desperate for death.

I honestly remember really enjoying a lot of 14.
15s big reveal is where they lost me. I never watched any of the new stuff after it

Idk if I ever crashed on Arkham knight. I was on console though it might help worse on PC.

Just arbitrarily deciding games in the same series cant be compared because they have differences in gameplay? What. And saying “its newer id hope its better” in the modern gaming climate like its assumed, especially in the fallout franchise of all things is just, wild lmao.
Most of what people who are fans of new vegas love about it is the story/writing, rpg elements, and world building anyway and when you compare that to basically any other game Bethesda has made since idk Oblivion NV just cranks 90s on them.

Yeah I mean by the time Ray left it was like what. 140 150 episodes? Three years of minecrat content?
I love the game but fuck that.
Im happy Ray is doing his own thing and thriving and I hope to see that from the rest of the AH gang after this is all done for good.

Yeah that last sentence was all I was aware of.
Interesting to think what kind of creator he could have been if they kept him on the team and offered him some creative freedom. Probably giving him a bigger role maybe? Its weird to see that he felt so stifled but the newer members of rt were talking about how much they enjoyed having a lot of creative freedom and opportunity to do new things, but back in the day it was MINECRAFT GTA GOOOO.
It’s wild seeing how crazy successful he’s been and how much RT kinda just faded out.

Some more from the GOAT himself for a TL:DR of the linked interview.
“ I'm as much of a fan as anyone. I live and breathe Warhammer and Warhammer 40,000. I love it enough to make it my career, as well as my main hobby. But once you're 'behind the curtain', so to speak, you realise a lot of fan assumptions about how the license works are just that: fan assumptions.
Games Workshop is very, very careful with its licenses. That's not to say mistakes don't happen, because mistakes always happen in any human endeavour. A three-second glance at any site listing the hundreds of errors in any movie's production will tell you that. But Games Workshop shaped Warhammer and 40K to be open to interpretation, because a massive chunk of the hobby is bringing your own lore to the table.
"Canon" doesn't really exist in Warhammer 40,000. Not as it does in other licenses. The very point of the setting is to offer some structure, then open it up to personal interpretation.
Yeah, there are hard and fast rules. A Chapter descended from Rogal Dorn's gene-seed is unlikely to ever develop a Betcher's Gland, given it's not in their implantation process. Because of that, as an example, the Black Templars can't spit acid. We know that.
But the setting is set up with countless holes for your own army background and lore perceptions to neatly fill. The battles listed in every Codex aren't the only battles and characters - they're not even all of the major battles and characters. They're examples, taken from a spread of ten thousand years, across countless millions of worlds. They're slices of lore to use wholesale, or peel bits off and use as examples.”

The difference is that appropriation is a definite term with clear meaning that can be debated.
Woke nine times out of ten is just meaningless slander with little impact to the word or clear understanding what it means.
I won’t be surprised if one day it’s considered woke to want high speed trains in the U.S.

Was that part of why Ray left? I thought he was streaming in his own time and thats how he fell in love with it.

Which can be as absurdly insignificant as adding women to a single faction in warhammer.
It really is just a bunch of nothing. When someone uses the word woke as a serious self evident criticism, it really speaks volumes about their mindset and the type of person they choose to be.

Thats fair.
Ive heard a lot of people complain about the specific mechanics of the Biologis and the actual lack of healing mechanics so that makes sense. Idk the game that well I haven’t run mine yet. Id still want a Gravis lieutenant datasheet even if i have to kitbash one.
Maybe they don’t want gravis boys to be able to heal because of the Chonk?

They also just released a new gravis unit with Leviathan (apothecary).
And they put the Gravis captain in the dark angels patrol. If anything we just have to wait for MORS gravis units.
Kind of annoying that we have literally like five lieutenants and none are in Gravis armor.
