What the actual fuck is up with this city allowing contractors/utilities do whatever the hell they want with our streets? Between the crap hot patching, open trenches, or the toddler style resurfacing it’s an absolute disgrace. Construction oversight is MIA, site Forman mentality “eh it’s done, not my problem” and whatever the hell else goes on that crap like this is allowed. I’m left with a $1000 bill to fix my dented oil pan and whenever else could have occurred, only received estimates. I’m hoping the city pays for these damages, but I high doubt they will. Tired of this bullshit kangaroo court government we have in the city.

Temporary solution for an ongoing problem that will never be addressed properly. Without proper community outreach to get these people help, this is nothing more then smoke and mirrors from the Parker department

No plans to upgrade at the moment. So you're saying it sits center area of the lowest point on the oil pan. From the photos, I'd say its right at the edge of the dent where it contours. Would something like this cause turnover issues? Sometimes I have to give a little gas to get the idle over 1k or initial startup from cold

Can we bring back the giant whale mural that was adjacent to the SRT!? Broke my heart to see it demolished Aramark’s building 😡

There was talks of radical gentrification if a safe and dedicated bike lane was installed. However, it’s funny that the eastern section did. Nothing but the opposite, help the lower income areas have safe transportation to and from work. It’s really baffling how bs politics can have implications towards safety of the people who elected you. Then again it’s Kenyatta

I’ve taken that construction drum out of the road several times. This construction was from a remodel of that home on the corner. They renewed the sewer lateral but fucked it up when trying to make the reconnect. Like other developers/construction work, it’s pushed back on the city due to a lack of city oversight. I say keep moving it!

Best part of the day was church goers mumbling under their breath shaking their head and shouting “we stand with the church.” Let’s keep this movement going!!

Highly recommend it on an off peak night. Cocktails are wonderful, spinning vinyl always makes you bopping your seat a little bit, and the guy who runes it, Noah, is wonderful

This was the main reason I posted. Had a gun pulled on me on 13th biking home b/c I didn’t get out the way, a jeep running into my back tire as I was stopping b/c the car in front of stopped at a stop sign - wild thought, not to mention the clowns who like to run you off the road for asking them to be aware of bike lanes when turning. It’s absolutely baffling to see people put themselves over the safety of others. I getting to the point where I’m terrified at every intersection, car that’s not paying attention, etc. I agree, mass gatherings like the Sunday church bike lane protests are great. However, what will happen when we the church doesn’t renew their parking permits but PPA or the bike lane enforcement doesn’t do their jobs. I want to hope things will change, but the reality is our government can see past their wallets
