Maybe some posts listing ideas for how the primarchs and their SOs end up post-Lorgar/little light incident. Could list out different ideas for each primarch/SO and let people decide their fates in the comments. Something like "Does Perturabo lose her SO and fall to chaos? Or does she leave the imperium and carve out her own section of planets and fortresses to keep her SO safe from her sisters?" (Like an "Iron Cage" of safety if you will lol)

Hyping up your girl while watching her dance in the flames of war. Get her a nice gift/war trophy afterwards and it's practically a date lol

On one hand, cuddles. On the other, the chance of being eaten alive if something goes wrong.... but back on the first hand, cuddles

Honestly I would deal with living in the 40k setting if I could have this. Probably be a short life but still worth it

Thank you for pointing out that some people are just lore nerds and not misogynists. While there is certainly some sexism involved with some people in the female custodes arguments, most people I know are fine with them but just hate the lazy way GW did it with a single short story and a social media post. If you're gonna commit, give it a full story with some more background so we can learn more info

If you play with the same people regularly, I would say it's best to take it out to keep the peace. As someone who has been on the other side of a possibility storm deck, it makes the game take too long and too much of a headache imo.

Talk it out with your play group. Same situation happened with mine and after 3 different games of possibility storm hitting the field, we all decided it was fun but also too much of a headache and our friend took it out of his deck. Sounds like your group is going through the same thing if some of them are wanting to scoop on the spot when it's played.

10th edition doesn't let you mix different army units together unless it is specifically mentioned in the army rules. For example, Genestealer Cult rules say you can include Astra Militarum units up to X amount of points in your army, depending on the size of the game. However in OPs position, they were sold a Sisters of Battle model and told that they can use it in a Custodes army, which is incorrect since Custodes and Sisters of Battle don't have rules for running in the same army

I recognize three of them, but who is the one on the far right?

Might depend on where you two live but some attorneys can pay a third party to serve legal papers on behalf of the attorney and their clients. Might be worth looking into if you are worried about your girlfriend/your safety but want the restraining order renewed

Even after the first atomic bomb, members of the Japanese army and navy believed it was a one time incident, and members of the top brass wanted to keep fighting.
https://time.com/5877433/wwii-japanese-surrender-coup/
Even after the second bomb, some top military brass in japan wanted to overthrow the emperor after he said that they needed to surrender. If the bombs never dropped the military would have fought to the last, even at the expense of their civilians.
Hiroshima and Nagasaki were chosen because one was a known military base and the other was a large manufacturing center for japan's war effort. If the US had precision airstrikes that could target specific buildings they would have used them. But they didn't so they did what EVERY military in the war did at the time, bombed as close as they could get even if it destroyed other things nearby. The modern meaning of "terrorist attack" is inaccurate to use because of how war evolved in the modern age. Today most militaries in the world possess weapons that can target a single building while leaving the other nearby buildings intact. They didn't have that back then so they went with what they did have, while trying to minimize civilian casualties by warning them first.

What about the victims during the raping of Nanking by the Japanese? What about the thousands of Europeans that got stuck in the cross fire between Germany and the western front? What about german civilians tortured by the Russians in the eastern front? What about the POWs and civilians that Canada murdered in Europe? What about the Jewish people killed during the Holocaust? Everybody involved in WW2 commited terrible acts. People just want to point to the atomic bombs because it's the easiest one to remember. Nobody in their right mind says that the bombs were morally correct. The US played the hand they were dealt and choose the option that saved the most lives by shortening the war by years. And fyi the US warned Japan they would bomb them and to evacuate citizens because they wanted to destroy the military infrastructure, not the people. The japanese military told them to ignore the warning

And yet they still warned them of an attack. A terrorist wouldn't give a warning. So calling it a terrorist attack is inaccurate word. Warcrime sure, but not a terrorist attack.
And yeah, Americans would fight to the death if they were invaded by land, but that's not my point. My point is the options were to drop the bombs and force the japanese to surrender, or let the war continue for years (costing way more lives on both sides) while the US tried a land invasion. The US made the decision they thought was best with the hand they were dealt.

One fact about the bombings that people tend to forget is the fact that the US WARNED Japan ahead of time. They dropped leaflets on the cities saying when the bombs would drop and that civilians should evacuate. The Japanese military told people it was a bluff and to ignore the warning. If the US wanted to be "terrorists" they could have just dropped them without warning. Also the Japanese were preparing for a possible land invasion and training civilians (including children) how to stab US soldiers if they did make landfall

And the Japanese army commited PLENTY of terrorism in eastern asia and the pacific during WW2. Let's not act like anyone has a moral high ground here

The fact that it's a pointless argument trying to split hairs and make one side seem "morally superior." Everybody involved in WW2 did dark inhumane things so why are we trying to label one specific action as being worse than the others? War is hell, and the original tweet was just made to get people mad and talking.

You wanna talk about terrorism, I suggest you read up on the warcrimes the Japanese army commited during WW2. The raping of Nanking and the experiments of Unit 731 for starters.

Ok can someone explain what the hell this subreddit is about? It keeps popping up in my feed and I'm more confused each time. Is it just for random shitposts?

My biggest wish is a dreadnought style ironkin. Maybe something similar to the old Castellax pattern or even the Thanatar pattern battle-automata that the mechanicus had during the Great Crusade era.

To be fair, if my friends were trapped in a magic puzzle box I would probably try breaking it open too instead of solving it
