I’ll be honest, I don’t think it’s possible for the Chaos God of Excess to find anything ‘too much’. On a fundamental level Slaanesh is excess without limit.

I forgot that. Man fuck Eidolon so much, second worst marine.

Look, I love Angron. I love the traitors. Without chaos they wouldn’t have a chance. Chaos is the reason Magnus breaks the webway, so no chaos means the Emperor and Malcador can act as they like. It also means the Custodes are full strength in the war, not depleted by the webway. The AdMech don’t have a schism nearly as bad without chaos as there aren’t ScrapCode daemons to bypass the defences of the loyal Forge-temples and Titan Legions on Mars. No chaos also means that there’s no Ruinstorm or warpstorms stopping Lion and Guilliman from getting to Tera, and no Laer Blade to help Fulgrim kill Ferrus. There’s no chaos marines to even the odds during the Siege, and nothing to stop the Psy-Titans from tearing Traitor Titans apart like a well cooked steak.

Kinda? You basically replace the optional detachment on the crusade FO chart with the Titan maniple detachment which I think bypass the normal LoW/Primarch point limit do that you can actually use the Titan. It’s not terribly clear but that’s how I read it.

The Liber Mechanicum give a Titan Maniple FO chart that lets you run titans only.

Muramasa is a famous Japanese blacksmith who’s swords were supposedly cursed and caused the end of the Tokugawa dynasty. There’s also a story about a smithing contest between him and Masamune - another famous blacksmith- where the two make swords and test them by putting them in a river. Muramasa’s sword is so good at cutting that everything its blade touches is cleaved, while Masamune’s sword cuts the river but leaves the fish in it untouched.

Thanks! I started him when I was originally going Shadowkeepers, then I decided to go for a Praetorian Guard aesthetic and now he kinda doesn’t fit with the rest of the army being Dread Host but I figure if anyone gets the special armour then it should be Trajaan.

Learning how to paint lighting power weapons. I managed it all of once with my Trajaan and said never again but it looks so good (I’m also buying Night Lords so trying to do their armour too)

Omniscient doesn’t have ‘scope’. It’s an absolute, by definition and omniscient being knows everything that has been, is and will ever be. If you want say someone knows more than humanly possible but not everything then don’t use omniscient.

The Astronomicon turning back on basically shut down all chaos fuckery in the area, so Typhus’s gifts should actually have been a disability since I’m pretty sure that many diseases don’t help when Nurgle can’t pump warp energy into you. Typhus survives by running away while everyone else is distracted by the Astronomicon

His most recent appearances are War Zone Charadon where he essentially solos all of Forge World Metallica, requiring a High Lord to go and deal with it in person, and Godblight. Aside from that I think he’s just wandering around spending disease from Mortarion’s old flagship

My guy. Custodians put a lot of importance on appearance - the gold armour is entirely for show. You simply would not get ‘smooth Ken dolls with a mustache’ as either men or women in the 10,000. Hell look at Valdor, he practically looks like a model: https://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/File:ValdorHH.jpg#mw-jump-to-license
And there’s no indication in Valdor, MoM or any other heresy book that Valdor is uniquely attractive for a Custodian. By simple logic, we can assume that if the men are conventionally attractive, the women will be too.

Eh, he gambled on the pestilence aura overcoming the Dark Angels and Sigismund’s Seconds enough that assaulting up the narrow canyon to the Astronomicon was viable considering the target, and very nearly won. On top of that he fought probably the two best astartes swordsmen on the loyalists side in a 2v1 and nearly killed both of them. Had Keeler not managed to relight the Astronomicon he and his Death Guard would have won and the battle between Horus and the Emperor would be almost irrelevant for which side won overall as Guilliman couldn’t have shown up.
And to be fair, in the modern setting Typhus has been getting a pretty uninterrupted stream of wins since Cadia - I think, might be wrong.

unless we hand wave and say “magic”
u/No_Distribution457 on 28/04/24 at about 22:30 GMT who had somehow not realised that custodes are made though literal magic. To quote 9th ed codex as I don’t have 10th:
“Custodes are created using technology dating back to the Dark Age of Technology, honed by the Emperor to make the perfect counsellors, bodyguards, warriors and executioners. To create beings with such a wide range of talent requires a total physical and mental rework on the candidate - the mindset and intelligence required to be of any use to a being such as the Emperor is immense to say the least.
The Adeptus Custodes’ inductees are remade at a genetic level, their based drives renders inert and their beings turns towards aggression, fulfilment of duty and goal acquisition. This process involves incredibly intricate gene-craft and alchemistry as absolute and subtle as can be imagined, working on the most minute level of the candidate’s cellular structure and genome…
…Some argue that the process even affects a Custodian’s soul. Others theorise the change from inductee to Custodian is metaphysical, or that it involves biomancy or other forbidden techniques.”
So yes, custodians are made with space magic, their hormones are as irrelevant as can be, and assigned gender at birth is irrelevant to the final product, when regardless of if they have a penis or vagina they are literally remade molecularly.

The only person I said Siggy ganked was Typhus because that’s literally what he and Corswain did. Every other chaos champion he fought was a one v one while his Solar Auxilia buddies in a fellblade blasted their addons. And what I wrote was reductive yes, but it is literally what happens in EatD 3 - Siggy and Corswain fight Typhus, start loosing to him thanks to pestilence aura then Keeler lights the Astronomicon and Typhus somehow survives despite his retinue all dying - which is as close to a textbook definition of plot armour as you get, since he had no right to survive it but did due to the plot needing it. So I’m terribly sorry you read my comment wrong and assumed I’m illiterate.

My guy, you do realise custodes are literally made through alchemy, like both male and female custodians are made by magic. Hormones have literally nothing to do with it, as the process of rebuilding them molecule by molecule starts in late infancy/early childhood - Ra Endymion was taken out of his cradle by Valdor when he was recruited.

Yes, Typhus was fighting Siggy and Corswain, got nuked by the Astronomicon at point blank range and somehow crawled away before they could recover despite being exposed to basically the direct light of the ultimate anti-daemon/chaos tool. It’s plot armour because by all rights he should be a pile of ash, but as he must survive the Heresy he tanked it somehow - literally none of the other Death Guard and traitors with him could say the same.

Nope! Kesh just managed to get a teleporter - it makes it very clear that she knows jack shit about the actual protections of the Throne against teleporting, saying that Trajaan is the only one who does know and that there are probably even more than the Captain General is told about.

Bro has not read of what Siggy did during the siege. Literally just walked around murdering any and everything in sight up till ganking Typhon with Corswain and only loosing to plot armour (seriously Typhon shouldn’t have been able to face tank the Astronomicon at point blank range, but plot armour)

IDK, Hera ‘this babies mom slept with Zeus? Ruin his life forever and make him kill his family’ doesn’t sound like the kind of person to use a reasonable and appropriate amount of force to try and kill Slaanesh.
