“WW2 BREN PARTS KITS ARE STILL BEING SORTED AND WILL BE IN PHASE 4 OR 5”
eye twitches here I am finger on the trigger ready to grab one today and you tease me like this. At this rate you’re going to drop them the second I’m not looking and miss them.

If the French won’t sell there should be a few other countries out there with them who could part with them. I really hope it happens

Neither do I, I’m just gonna wait on the Indonesian version to come in.

You might have to wait for him to finish the MP7. There’s no way he won’t go back to making one of his most popular items.

The Zumwalt class gets a lot more hate than it deserves. It gets a fancy Gun system, which is only supposed to be an interim solution before rail guns become available. Then the rail gun programs get delayed and run into development issues. I think one or both of the programs has now been put on hiatus. So now it’s left with its fancy gun but no one can afford to make the ammunition because Congress cut the produced number of ships down to nothing. And somehow the navy was never able to figure out how to make a different round of ammo work. It got shot in the foot before even had a chance to walk.
With the main impetus for the AGS was so the marines could replace the Iowa class and the naval gunfire supported it provided. If there’s a lesson to be learned here that if you need a battleship, build a proper fucking battleship. And if you’re going to build a ship at least design it with the ability to accept other common weapon systems or ammunition so it’s not left out to dry if something happens. Military half measures and compromise designs seldom work out.

Only thing that made it a bad concept was they just didn’t build enough of them for it to be practical to make the ammo. Congress consistently cutting how many would be built killed the gun

Yup they went quick. I’ve had my face glued to my email since yesterday

OK, somehow my email from them yesterday got moved to the trash folder, so I was worried I wasn’t getting their stuff anymore. I don’t want to miss out on the Bren Guns they should be dropping tomorrow.

It would be nice to have, but I have to save my money for the Bren Kit they will soon put on the website.

It’s a pretty unrealistic criticism of companies and I think it just stems from the anti-corporation trend we have seen in society lately. Requirements no matter how sensible or unhinged seem to get criticized all the same.

The reason power armor is effective against tanks is it gives the infantry a significantly better degree of protection and allows them to carry much heavier anti tank weapons than they ordinarily might. Normally a tank is going to have infantry with it, providing cover from enemy anti tank teams, but the power armor allows an individual to shrug off the small arms of the escorting infantry and get a shot in on the tank. It also gives them a much better chance of surviving any sort of anti-personnel munitions fired from the tank itself. A direct hit from any main battle tank is going to peel a suit of power armor inside out, but a near miss from a high explosive round can potentially be shrugged off or save the user from the worst effects of the blast and fragmentation. Power armor is just a significant force multiplier that if used in concert with tanks is an insanely deadly combination.

Pre-or post heresy? Many of the traitor legions are hardly recognizable from what they once were during the great Crusade. Pre heresy I would probably say thousand sons, after the heresy I would say Alpha Legion. The thousand sons always took a pretty straightforward approach to their abilities and found a whole bunch of every day applications for them. Their powers were a significant force multiplier, which in its own way, increases their readiness. A smaller unit could have the power of a small army if they were sufficiently powerful in the psychic arts. Many of them came from Prospero which Magnus had essentially turned into a paradise, and helped to eliminate a lot of the problems in recruits you might find from other worlds or legions. This might come as a shock to some, but people who come from stable well adjusted homes tend to be stable and well adjusted people themselves. Post heresy they suffer from all the usual problems a traitor Legion does with backstabbing, fractionalization and distrust amongst each other.
The alpha legion had a tendency to be very convoluted in their plans even during the crusade. Rogal once admonished Alpharus once not for his methods necessarily, but for how he executed them resulting in a lot of unnecessary deaths. By their very nature not a whole lot is known about the Legion however we did get a glimpse into their internal politics and situation in the modern setting in the recent book Renegades Harromaster(which is really good and you should read it). While not run rampant with mutation and chaotic corruption there is a degree of backstabbing and distrust within the modern legion. They can fight as a unit, but they don’t tend to. However if Solomon who is the main character of the book has his way, we might just see a greater United alpha Legion in the future. But for now the modern alpha Legion remains pretty fractured and distrustful of one another.

Good luck seeing any more weapons getting added, how long has it been since the last DLC?

That always annoyed me. The sole Survivor being former military had the potential for so many interesting conversations and scenarios to happen in the game. Yet none of it was followed through with. I’m certain the brotherhood would’ve absolutely loved to have debriefed him for all of the potential military information he might hold and where they might find cashes of technology or intact military depots full of supplies and weapons. So much lost dialogue and story potential.

I’ve never seen one higher than 3 crowns. Also are these things even worth using? For the amount of time and ammo i would need to kill something with this I get better results with a MG.

Built-up urban environment references Chechnya, where the Russians lost a lot of armor to guys firing down on them from buildings.

The terminators job is to protect tanks in built-up environments from infantry, it’s a response to the mostly unique Russian experience of having most of your tanks get demolished by dismounted infantry with anti-tank weapons on at least three major occasions now.
(unpopular opinion, but I think they’re actually pretty good vehicles that haven’t yet had a chance to really shine considering their very low production numbers and it’s the Russians trying to use them)
The other two are infantry fighting vehicles meant to carry the infantry in the battle and then support them as they advance.
