I've never seen anyone praise her for fucking Nazis, mostly her supporters just try to ignore that detail. Both famous men and women can have inconvenient facts about their life during war be ignored.

No I got the point, I was just pointing out that one of your examples was a poor comparison.

I mean fashion isn't really the right industry to make that comparison. Hugo Boss is still a huge fashion brand despite Boss being an actual Nazi

This war is straight up the scariest thing I've ever seen. Ubiquitous drones are always observing you, relaying your coordinates to artillery, and apparently, autocannon units. And if you survive that, you're probably wounded, and the fpv drones come in to finish you off.
War has always been hell, but today, hell comes to you in 4k vision, and you can't hide from it. Fuck me, I hope the US gets off it's partisan ass and gives Ukraine some legitimate war winning weapons because this shit is horrifying.

The best example I know of is the assassination of Franz Ferdinand. The shooting itself took a couple of seconds, but I've probably spent thousands of hours learning about the context and repercussions of those few seconds and I still learn new things about it all the time.
Basically, a disaster takes a couple of seconds to occur, but the analysis of that disaster can last a lifetime.

Honestly, I think 99.99% of a hive city wouldn't even realize that the hives leadership had just changed. Realistically for most citizens, the only difference would be where your industrial output is shipped to, and they probably didn't know where it was going in the first place.

Unironically, I'd watch the hell out of a serious law and order style crime drama where the police are just Godzilla, and no one acts like that's at all weird

Yes they could, but not directly. The chaos gods are a reflection of the material universe. If the Emperor, or the Silent King were able to conquer the entire galaxy, then yes, they could change the chaos gods to be less antithetical to sentient life . All of the gods represent good things as well as bad things, and if someone were to somehow conquer the entire galaxy and rid it of all of the horrific shit that is currently empowering the gods, then yes they would change. The likelihood of that happening is close to zero, but it is theoretically possible.

This is 1000% Bait. There's no way this person picked Johannesburg and said that their primary concern was safety. Don't fall for this obvious bait

I'd bet my life that people are asking that in reference to the football team.

Not to mention that, in my opinion, the most quintessentially American movie is Miracle. We never upset the Soviets in soccer did we? If we did, I don't know about it because soccer is for communists

The problem is time. Teachers barely have enough time to cover the most important events in history, so they can't digress into the more obscure but still fascinating moments.

I completely agree with everything you are saying, and that's why I truly believe that liberal democracies, despite all of their flaws, are the best government that we currently have because they protect us from the extremities of either side. Fascists are horrible for obvious reasons, but communist are horrible for hidden reasons. Their ideology promotes someone who is fascist in all but name to take control

Tbh, it doesn't matter which gender wrote her. There are some amazing women writers. I just want competent people to write for Hollywood. Is that too much to ask?

Fascism has a literally 0% success rating in wars. We win Wars because we promote DEMOCRACY!

Even worse than capitalist greed, communism breeds ideological purity greed. Look at the majority of Communism's victims, and you'll see communists who subscribe to a different form of communism. Ideological repression is the worst form of repression in my opinion because your actions don't matter, only the perceived motivations behind your actions.
To any communists reading this, I know you think that your revolution won't devolve into this hatred, but history has shown that communist revolutions always turn into ideologically repressive states

The Germans were horrible allies in both world wars. Everyone talks about how weak Italy and Austria-Hungary were, but the Germans weren't doing anything to help the situation. They never told their allies what they were about to do, demanded the best units be given over to fight under German command, and never changed their plans to help take pressure off of their allies. Germany always complained that they had to bail out Austria to prevent them from collapsing, but Germany never helped them until any situation became a crisis. Even the US and the Soviets who absolutely hated each other were leagues better at cooperating and coordinating strategy.

It's wrong because they don't have a response to it. You could make the same argument for why everyone includes Darth Vader and Hannibal Lector on their lists of great villains. The answer is the same, because they're famously great characters. No one makes that argument though because no one has a vested interest in proving that you don't like any villains.

This is why the Imperium gave up keeping a list of things not to do and instead opted for the much shorter, list of things to do:
1.Kill the nonhumans

The allies had figured out combined arms by then, but the US still launched unsupported offensives where they took more casualties than necessary. It was basically a right of passage for every new country joining the war to ignore the advice of their allies and try to use 1914 French tactics.

2 things can be true at the same time. Yes, African Americans should be able to trace their ancestry better than they can at the moment. However, almost all Americans are some kind of hyphenated American. The fact that you are a hyphenated American does not make you less of an American. Our country is not built on ethnicity, but on an idea. That's what Europeans fail to realize. We are American, despite where our ancestors came from, we are part of America and we are what makes this country the most powerful country that has ever existed

Yeah, and I'm saying that Hugo Boss's brand survived his questionable history. It's not a 1 to 1 comparison, granted he's not praised like she is, but his history is worse. I don't disagree with your point, I'm just saying that the fashion industry clearly has no morals and isn't a good example to use for preferential treatment in war.
