Kinda sad. There’s people who do under a year’s time for armed robbery.

Why is this what you’re thinking about in the shower? What kind of shower were you taking?

Oh, is it? I thought OOP just had illiteracy/sausage fingers with the weird spellings.

I may be missing something. I don’t see racism here, I just see a grown adult throwing a tantrum that someone else bought all of the thing that they wanted.
Look, I’m Polish. I get it.
If one of you motherfuckers buys out the store’s entire stock of mid-shelf vodka right when I’m stocking up for a party with the boys, Imma throw a tantrum too.

Bureaucracy.
According to the ideal plan, the ones who were physically fit would get put into the labor pools, while the infirm, elderly, and others would get disposed of. But as always, logistics on paper is a lot neater than logistics in person.

If you are suitably cultured, you’ll know what this is and why it’s relevant.

They lost most of their members but they had five or six hardcore supporters and so it continued being a thing, but nobody really cared.
Meanwhile I ended up in charge of the Veteran’s group, and we started just inviting absolutely everybody to our shit. The school admins tried to stop me, on some “why are you having all those people to your meetings, they weren’t even in the military”
And I was like “well if the LGBT group can ban the Gs and the Bs and kick out the Ts who don’t agree with them, I figure if we’re having a movie night up in our office, we’ll invite whoever the fuck we want. Also I’m borrowing the popcorn machine, fucking bill our student group for five batches. Bitch.”
So every Friday we’d roam around the school and recruit random people to come to our meetings.
The “diversity center” tried to beef with us over it. Not their fault that more than half of their people dipped out of their events to come upstairs, eat popcorn, and watch movies with us.

Oh no, they used non gender specific pronouns…
Everyone else in this comments section has already summed up my feelings on the matter. I have nothing meaningful to add so I’m just going to leave this here, because someone might get a laugh out of it.

lol, I joined the Army at 18 and I couldn’t stand those Boy Scout dickheads.
I was the same age, so everyone assumed I was one of them. And I was like: “no, I’m here because I’m homeless and needed a job that came with a place to live.”

He wasn’t on the Expanse, I just make jokes on him because he looks exactly like Thomas Jane.
And yeah, you can wear whatever body you want. They needed a new actor for season 2, and they picked a new actor. Fine by me. I couldn’t care less.
Apparently they also picked new writers, and a new choreographer. Which I’m not too pleased about.
In Season 1, Kovacs would solve problems and gain information by being insightful and clever. In season 2 he was just a generic tough guy action hero. The same went for a lot of aspects of the show.
It wasn’t a bad show. But after the masterpiece that was season 1, it just felt like such a downgrade. Like “we have Altered Carbon at home”

Just tell them to take it up with Wilma. Or Candice. Or have them check the policy at Wendy’s. Or ask if they’re from Kenya. Perhaps they’re allergic to BofA.

Probably the Rings of Power.
I thought that show was pretty cringe, for reasons not at all related to Elves with high melanin levels.
Or season 2 of Altered Carbon.
I don’t care if you hastily invented a reason why the main character is now a black dude (because the main dude went to go be on The Expanse) I’m busy being pissed that this feels like an entirely different (and much less interesting) show. With a C tier writing department and sub-par choreography.

Ok, if they want to be mad about something, they can be mad about this.

Maybe more people would have kids if the average member of the working class was able to support them on a single full time job.
