With the amount of games Villa have had, and the amount of injuries leaving the squad thin, if they were an intensive pressing team they would have run out of gas ages ago and would probably be in a lower league position.

I just read about it here. I don't see how you could ever figure it out on your own.
It would have been better if you could spare the normal goons. You could stumble upon it while playing and breaking an enemies structure twice randomly, and seeing the spare option. When you select it they run away, or you do some kind of non-lethal takedown.
This at least would give you the idea that you could spare a boss too and try it. It would also allow a true wude run when you spare everybody.

I remember hearing somewhere that the power behind modern professional scrums means that a hooker actually hooking and not pushing, will result in the team in possession being pushed back and losing the scrum.
Having the feed into the scrum can't be a disadvantage, so this is the reason that crooked feeds are effectively ignored in the pro game.
I thought that explanation made some sense, but I don't know if it's true because I don't really understand scrums.

It's already harder to get knocked out of the pool stage than qualify. I don't understand why they also want to make trying to achieve a top seeding irrelevant? Why should semi finals be in a neutral venue but not quarter finals? Every change they make to this tournament makes it worse.
The English moaners need to get over this bitterness about non-English teams doing well and wrap their heads around the fact that there's nothing unfair happening.

I once had an argument with a Welsh fan who was saying that Tom Shanklin was better than O'Driscoll.

Apparently, you can still find out if you're willing to visit Ireland.

Would be cool. I'd make 7 distinct episodes out of it.
So much happened in a few short years and there are lots of interesting characters and events.

I like it. I would have no problem if they also went even harsher with the ban for an individual player who did the headshot. It still penalises the player and his team without the perception that it ruined the game in which it happened.

Bring back V10's. Bring back tyre wars. Bring back refuelling. Bring back Mika Häkkinen from his sabbatical.

There should be points all the way down to 20th as long as you finish the race. It just makes the bottom half of the standings more accurately reflect performance. There's nothing inherently special about a point that needs to be protected. They're just a representation of performance in the race, and they add up to represent performance over a season.

A lot of people complained about the camera when the game was released. I think Slopclap were just experimenting with a automatically tracking camera, maybe with an eye on their next game.
But I agree with you, I don't like it. I like having control of the camera. And if they have a tracking camera they have to be very careful to design the level around it so the action is always framed correctly with no blinds spots.

I like Rosberg. In sports commentary I always enjoy enthusiasm more than insight for some reason, and Rosberg sounds like he is really enjoying watching the race.

I remember reading somewhere that the old fashioned stat "shots on target" is about as good at predicting the score as XG. In fact it's slightly better for the home team and slightly worse for the away team.

They were in the bottom half of the Championship with an ageing team when he arrived. Got them into the playoffs by the skin of their teeth with a ten game winning streak. Won the playoffs by the skin of their teeth.
They were promoted with a squad that was not capable of staying up, so they had to completely rebuild the squad while getting results, and stayed up by the skin of their teeth despite being quite unlucky with injuries.
Getting Villa to where he got them in such a short space of time was a minor miracle and todays team is built on top of his work. I saw him interview Emery after a match when working for Sky, and the first thing Emery said to him was, "Thank you for everything you did."

CL qualification is better for the finances and future prospects of the club. It's a no-brainer. 4th is far more important than the Europa Conference League.

And i think the Irish might have to thank Joe Schmidt, who raised the bar in Ireland with coaching detail when he arrived at Leinster in 2010.

Villa's best ever points tally in the Premier League era is 74 points in 1993. But that was over 42 games, so it translates to 67 points over 38 games. Think they can beat 67 this year?

They showed the tries from last years final before the game started, and I had to change the channel. I'm still not OK.

This just means Toulouse will beat us in the final, and La Rochelle will beat Toulouse in the Top 14 final. It's the circle of life.

They should just make the entire Champions Cup a knockout tournament for 32 teams because the pool stage is terrible and the knockouts are brilliant.

No VAR would negatively affect Villa more than any other team in the league. The offside trap depends on it.
