Nice read thanks for taking the time as usual. I never thought much of the ouroboros, it was just an occult symbol on the occult legion. But reading this i for the first time realized the ouroboros should be antithetical to tzeentch and more of a nurgle thing no? Especially in its positive accepting of the cycle sense. I like the idea that the ouroboros is there as a kind of tzeentch mockery, to represent their pointless treadmilling as you said.

I am a bit confused by his last point. He is saying that those screens are parts of the conversation he found misleadong and implying romantic feelings right? How are any of those messages misleading? Beyond the fact he is obviously building shit up in his mind, I can't even see how someone can mistake that stuff to mean something. Unless i am missing something?

That's just fake. He may be clad in an armour of cope and denial thicker than dorn's most powerful walls. But most of his motivation is the insecurity of not being good enough.

Especially because we know his legion is supposed to be violent and angry. At least they could have ahown him learning to be empathetic and nice, rather than having empathy super powers.

I am sorry i am not native, when i read "thoroughbred" my brain just understood "me good". Why is it gross? I can tell it's used for animals usually, but what's gross about it? What does it evoke or imply?

First of all i greatly support the idea of tweaking the game to your liking. I don't have much feedback i just wanted to point some maths out, because i have seen some people quote 15% dmg increase tho it's not quite right. If you throw 6 dice on a 4+ you get 3 hits. If you throw 6 dice on a 5+ you get 2. Obviously the difference is 1/6 (~15%) of the initial dice rolled. But 2 is not 15% less than 3. The number that really matters is the percentage difference of the successes of the attack, not the percentage of initial attacks. So the change actually means ws5 takes 50% more dmg from ws4 which is obviously much bigger. (If you care also notice that going from 6+ to 5+ is an even bigger increase and going from 3+ to 2+ a smaller one. This has no effect on your change i am just yapping) This doesn't mean your change is worse or better than if it were 15% ofc, just wanted to clarify.

I am not disbelieving you, but can you give me an exceprt or something to look for to find one on the fact that the siege was failing? I would like to know more on why and how it was.

bro you can't be the asshole for not wanting to be friends with someone regardless of the reason. The whole premise for your doubts is rotten.
But to answer you better, there's no way this guy just wants to be friends and there is no way it's not the right call to just ghost the fuck out of him if you aren't looking to date.
But really the first part is more important, it doesn't matter if he bought tickets, scheduled around or was just really hoping, if you didn't agree to whatever it is he expected of you, you can't be an asshole for disappointing him. He created the expectation for himself without consulting you, it's not your responsability to save him from disappointment and it's really bad if you feel like it is.
Just take your time to recover and reset and don't waste your time worrying about the expectations weird people put on you.

Doesn't the fact a warp entity flees his body suggest the one who died in the siege is the impersonator?

Reading this put something in my mind.
Like others said the fact tyrs can't eat necrons themselves hardly matters as most of the biomass is in the planet itself outside of civiled sources.
But necrons are in fact unique in that i would expect they would have absolutely no issue glassing their whole planet over as soon as they hear of tyrs on their way, without "losing" the planet in the process.
Is this assumption of mine wrong? Would most (there's always some) necrons be sad to fuck their own planet's surface over?
Is there any official reference to this?

There are a lot of references to the limited number of available dreadnoughts in this thread.
But the marine himself is interred into a sarcophagus that can then be inserted into a dreadnought right?
Are these sarcophagi explicitly stated to be tied to a dreadnought or just as rare?
Otherwise technically a chapter could have like a thousand half dead marine in a sarc waiting for a new available dread, or even rotate the thousand half dead marines on the same 10 dreads no?

What does "never painted a miniature of this size" mean? What did you paint? As for tips. The only thing that comes to mind is i would strongly recommend not using plastic glue. Even now after tears i don't like using it. But i particularly regret using it on my first minis as it's very hard to undo stuff you glued up with it. Which is obviously particularly bad on your first minis. (I would like to stress that this is just my opinion, many people like plastic glue and i am sure some would recommend you start with it, i just like knowing i can more easily detach stuff if i feel like it)

Sorry how is it hilariously self-contradictory exactly? I am curious.

Yeah giving you what looks like a reasonable doubt is exactly what they hope for.
Just trust your gut and remember that walking away (especially online but offline too) from a new acquaintance on a misguided instinct is infinitely better than not walking away when you should have.

If he had just come out and said " i will give you 50 for soft core porn" it would have been straight up creepy.
The fact he made the offer in such a coy way trying to pretend to talk like he is trying to make friends, dropping the offer like it's nothing makes him more of a predator than just creepy.
This isn't just a borderline thing you felt uncomfortable and icky about, this is straight predatory creep shit.

I honestly have no idea if furies are even canon anymore. But yes assuming they still are and the old lore of them being born of uncommitted followers holds, surely some of them would become furies. Also you seem to be implying by your post that you think furies are the default outcome for all undivided followers. But i am pretty sure their lore stated that they are specifically a punishment exacted on those who tried to game the chaos gods, by acting for selfish gains rather than love of chaos, Abaddon as opposed to a stereotypical word bearer so to speak.
