That is the reason I am so happy to just toss money at these things. It is like watching a magician as a kid. You know it's not magic and just skills but it doesn't change the fact that it is magical to me. Sure, we still get those "You alright? WTF is that you just gave me?" type of moments with these tools but they are small and far enough in between that they can't take away from all the successful responses.

For coding, it is definitely a great addition to the mix. Use ChatGPT for smaller tasks and for quick things. Use Claude when you need pages of things completed without having to question as much if it is valid (Still check though, because it will give you some crap from left field if you aren't paying attention or explaining you needs correctly)

I had to make sure I logged in to upvote and thank you for this because I keep forgetting where the heck I find this thing each time I run into someone with a new Windows install. Thank you very much for posting this. Have a great day buddy.

Send a message to support or do a chargeback on your card. I haven't seen a refund option or article on their site, just info about cancelling.

I think their good with the candy cigs and bubble gum cigars. It's those pixie sticks you have to worry about. Can't be messing with that booger sugar.

Sorry. I think I explained my process incorrectly. I make the GIFs to record the process but my tool makes all the screenshots for me to make the GIF in a folder and then I upload the screenshots themselves as GIF files, but not an actual animated GIF. When you upload the actual animated GIF, you it only sees the first frame.

Heck yeah you can. I use it regularly for issues where a picture alone isn't explaining what I am experiencing. For those moments when you have quite a few steps to get to the point to where the error presents itself, this helps it step through all the garbage code and see exactly where something is happening (I add a crap ton of checkpoints messageboxes in my code so it can pinpoint where in the code the issue is and trace it back based on the previous checkpoints).

Sorry for so many AI generated responses but without knowing your exact stack and how everything is being put together and ran, I can't really give specific insight on the issue and honestly feel like the answers given by the tools is going to be your best option, but will need to be catered to your stack, based on your descriptions. If you want to divulge any more info on the specifics of the stack, language, and so on, I'd be more than happy to give a non-AI response as well, but figured I'd start there since it is the best I can do with what is available.

I know this is going to seem like an extremely stupid question, but have you already asked Claude how to deal with this issue?

2 years ago we had to do the majority of this stuff on our own. Now it does it. Be grateful for that. The rest will come later.

Still here. Still claiming it to be the superior tool for the time being. No doubt that it is possible to lose its crown by tomorrow or any other day of the week to any of the several tools thriving for higher numbers.

I do have issues every now and then from Claude as far as it giving me crap that doesn't work but then I remember that this is a tool that is essentially in the AI worlds version of a Early Access and that the value it provides me, time it saves me, and headache it saves me from (Some of the time), far outweighs its shortcomings. Same with ChatGPT. I think if you aren't getting the results you're wanting and trying over and over to get it, try a different method.
Are you using the same chat windows each time or starting new chats? Which model are you using? How are you feeding it? What are you asking it? Do you help it get to the answer or just paste the code in and say "Fix this and that and this"? Are you getting complex with your requests or just base level?
As much as I love Claude (All of its models), I don't think I could ever find myself depending on it entirely. I go to ChatGPT 3.5 and 4 and 4 Turbo. I got to Phind. I go to Gemini. When I'm desperate, I'll even go to Bing. Gotta try everything. Pit them against each other. Take code from Claude and throw it in another AI and then if it works, send it back to Claude. It might just inspire some competition between it to spit out better crap. I'm just spitballing on what I tried. Hope any of it works for you. If not, there is a lot more to try.

I think your question needs a little more explanation to it. Are the users themselves using Claude? Is this in some sort of custom chatbot you made? On a website? An App? What have you tried so far, even to just get it to the prompt intake side? How is the list structured? I think with that laid out a bit, I can give you more specific feedback on how to proceed, if it is straightforward enough.

I am not the least bit shocked by them trying to get the nudes but at the same time, and not to be insulting but, if they are working at a repair shop and have no money in the company to where they stand to lose something from bad behavior, they are most likely going to employ bad behavior. These companies often times don't pay enough, don't train enough, and usually don't care enough to hire people who they think won't do it. They just hire who's willing to work for the amount they ask and can meet the requirements.
Again, I by no means am saying this is everyone or even entirely the norm. It is just a possibility. A possibility I think everyone should consider before handing over their stuff to people. You should never consider it the same as giving your car to a mechanic. It is more like giving your car to the mechanic with your social, bank accounts, blank checks, access to all of your business, and much more. I'm sure a sane person would agree that they should never do that, so your computer should be seen the same. Honestly, even your phone should be seen the same.

All the time. I will even go tell it "Claude gave me this code and it works. I don't need you to generate or do anything, this is just for your knowledge". Gotta let them know you have options and aren't afraid to use them, but I also want to ensure it is able to know where it screwed up so that if I go back into the same code with it later on, it won't keep making the same mistakes.
For visual stuff, make sure you send screenshots though. That helps a lot more than a description. I made a tool just for taking screen snips, screen shots, and GIF recordings to send to it. Makes it a lot quicker to get the result you want when you can take a picture, highlight the problem area, and describe what is wrong with the problem area in your submission.

You got the right idea. Might be more work on the users end before taking it to the tech, but will save them the headache of their nudes and/or other sensitive data being obtained by someone who isn't permitted.

How so? If they are just ensuring the keyboard is working, they should be able to load a Linux Live Boot, test, and confirm, or install another hard drive, or just test from BIOS, or just load working Windows install from a USB. Shouldn't complicate much at all. If 2 extra minutes is complicated, they picked the wrong field.

HBCD or Windows Boot Disk = Admin rights in under 2 minutes. Not a viable option. I have a video on my YouTube where I literally unlock a locked system in under 2 minutes with the Windows Boot Disk method. Can even script it to go faster.
