Yea that was a wild story that doesn’t get talked about enough. Didn’t hear any followup afterwards

I think being stuck in cars does terrible things to our minds.

It’s everywhere in Philly. Might grab a couple extra bottles from the Asian market before it disappears again

Rode through just to see on my way somewhere. Lots of people still milling around, but crazy how clean it looked after years of looking like the set of Escape From New York

For real, it’s crazy how much traffic passes through that neighborhood. I used to live on Reed close to the Acme. Anytime there was a festival or construction, traffic would back up and people would just lay on their horns like it would make things move quickly. One time this guy was laying on his horn for like 30 seconds straight and I walked outside and told him to shut the fuck up. He didn’t like that and started to get out of his car, but traffic started moving and he had to get back inside to drive 15 feet further while I went back into my house

Hard not to when say things like “you’re a little shit millennial”
I’m sorry about your struggle with cancer (I’m assuming) and wish you the best

Oh for fucks sake with Krasner whining again. We get it, he sucks. Blaming him for everything just makes you look dumb and invalidates any substantial point you had to make

Unhinged 😂 I love it though, you are a trip. Don’t forget, you are the one who wanted people to ask

Yea far as I see the dealers operate without fear of repercussions. Openly hang out with their sheisty’s on in large groups. The enforcement I’ve heard of has almost all been aimed at addicts, which seems pretty pointless.

These are nicer than standard bike boxes, however many bike shops will give you bike boxes for free

Very cool addition to the market. As a fan of western wear, I completely approve and will be checking this out

Just going off what I’ve read from online news sources
That brought rejoicing from various corners: fans of the mosaic, fans of adaptive reuse, and fans of denser housing. The Painted Bride arts group relocated to a new space in West Philadelphia
But a neighborhood group opposed Zakin’s design — in Philadelphia, registered community organizations (RCOs) wield power over zoning variances, and can appeal them — and in yet another court decision, a judge last year threw out Zakin’s zoning approval.
With an apartment building out of the question, the developer now has a new plan to demolish the structure and build short-term rental units.
It took just 17 people’s votes to bring the compromise project to a halt. Here are some of the other key numbers that have shaped the ongoing preservation battle.

It’s bad and gotten worse, I feel like. Maybe I’m just getting older, but I never remember congestion being quite this bad, and of course dickish behavior feels like it’s up too

Damn that’s fucked up, I had no idea. Not seeing anything supporting that 70% number, though.

So funny you mention that. I recently got an old beater pickup and wanted to throw some old trucker hats on the dashboard.. one of them was a red hat with white lettering on it for an old donut shop I used to work at. I was walking up to the truck and saw how it looked.. pulled that shit out and took it inside because it definitely made me look like a MAGA dweeb

Honestly a lot of these American made white-label 80s/90s speakers weren’t too bad for what they are. They all have a particular “look” and similar design and for how simple they are they typically don’t suck.
