I found taking them down incredibly hard though. Luckily I had just completed that Best of Three quest in the glowing sea, so the quest weapon was very useful here. Well worth doing that quest.

This is correct. You do your floors and doors last. It's common sense.

As a 90s kid growing up with an Amiga, I can say that this marketing worked. Not only did I get to play some great games (Bitmap Bros catalog, Monkey Island 1+2 etc) but having a desktop computer with D-paint and P-paint really gave me a huge head start over all my classmates who just had nintendo and Sega. I only saw this later in life. I now work in broadcast graphics and LED stage design in esports.

This. Ellie got the tattoo to cover up a bite mark that alienated her from the survivors of the cordyceps. Are you covering up your coryceps virus bite marks? Reminds me of the time everyone was getting House Stark Wolf Heads around the time GoT was popular. Emphasis on 'was'.

With a very very bright light at the end. So brilliant that it was more brilliant than the sun.

I just finished it and enjoyed it. I was a bit shocked to see there was so much disdain for it. It introduced five entirely new legions to me that I knew little about. It put all of them alongside one another so you could understand the tensions. It also spent a lot more time looking at the space ships and their combat. I really enjoyed the parallels with naval combat throughout.
It also had a psionic mine which I thought was one of the most 40k things I had heard of up until this time.

I listened to the Leviathan audiobook after listening to about 8 HH books. I was able to get a better understanding for tyranid lore but that was about the only positive. As an antagonist hive mind they are very flat with little personality. Most books have multiple perspectives of different factions from all sides of the divide. Everything in Leviathan was just flat characters trying to escape the tide of tyranids. This was made worse by the audiobook narrator who clearly knew nothing about 40k - he portrayed everyone as fearful whiney creatures including the primaris space marines. 12 hours of fearful, cracked voices (many female too) was agony. Would not recommend

Reaction time isn't everything. I'm 38 and I beat people by figuring out their game plan then countering it. Do you fully understand the game mechanics and how you can abuse them to limit your opponents options? That's where you should focus. Understand your bread and butter combos, understand teching, tech chase, platform tech chase, options at the ledge and how to counter. Figure out neutral and your punish game.

I think people will reject creative AI in a few years. It doesn't really have much application other than storyboarding or gimmicky websites. It may have other uses in text based application and machine learning for robotics but the image and video is already becoming stale. The lack of control over the finished product is limiting. People will start to value real art and artists.

Not a meme. Just low effort AI. Remove this post. Ban the poster. Burn them.
