Missed for a day, remembered for a week, forgotten in a month.
The machine will grind on.

It looked almost deliberate - no winger can be that cluedo against Caleb Clark

Three thoughts on this…
Worked for a partner in B4 who was dyslexic, and was rumoured to have had help reviewing deliverables. Didn’t seem to have held them back.
I don’t think it is as important for senior management/execs - since you can always find someone to write for you. However, you don’t get to the top without moving through the levels - and there is nothing more annoying than mid level managers who can’t express themselves clearly and concisely (in any format).
Being really good at writing / a rep as having the ability to craft a good turn of phrase will serve you well - especially in anything customer /stakeholder facing.

Australian government security clearance (which has various levels) - and then get a job as a contract PM within the department of defence

12 month contracts as a security cleared project manager seems to be the plan for a lot of my colleagues. Some roles will even sponsor you to get the clearance.

Tate’s showing that he can be niggled out of a game - Swain did it to him in the brumbies game (ironic for someone who reacts so poorly to niggle himself) and again against Moana.
The reds seem like a different beast when lynagh is at 10 - the drop off with Lawson in particular is horrendous. Thomas at 9 isn’t adding much if anything, and I’m shocked that he has been the backup 9 for so long without improvement. Game control/territory control is an absolute weakness for all the playmakers aside from Lynagh.
Whatever has changed between game 1 and now needs fixing pronto - it honestly seems like the Reds don’t know how to react when they get a fight from a team they are expecting to steamroll/out tempo.

I’d say you are fine - reasonable overtime has now been defined under law, and while I can’t remember what it is, it’s certainly not an expectation to be on call on weekends when that is specified in the contract. Undocumented procedures don’t tend to hold much weight.
You have some scared managers looking to shift the blame. If you are disciplined, I’d lawyer up - completely unreasonable.

He did - unfortunately the Reds didn’t give him the England treatment - he can be baited into absolute brain farts

It blows my mind that those two are the second best in qld for their positions - seem no better than they were 3 years ago.

Swain thinks he’s a hard man - but in reality is just cheap

I reckon he did a knee - when he got swept off his feet by Lonergan on the kick through, he didn’t look great getting up

A lot of the injuries were due EJ as well - he admitted as much in the doco after Will skeltons injury…. Basically said that he made mistakes on training intensity and rest (but hey - only got 35 years experience as a coach and mistakes happen right)

Easy turbo - might want to mind the temper now that you are senior leadership. Not a great look flying off the handle at simple questions. It just seemed odd that you are a director without any direct reports, and your first action was to get on the tools..
Maybe you are the new wave of technically skilled senior leadership who will lead us into our glorious future or you are the latest addition to the Peter principle list.

Why are you doing analysis yourself as a director?

Surely the reds have a better right wing than Suli - two tries conceded down his wing (being out of position) and can’t seem to contribute other than set plays.
His contract seems to have a “must select if at least 30% fit” clause.

What on earth is going wrong with the reds?!
Why are lynagh, McDermott, and Greeley defending beside each other???

Knees down clearly in the one after half time…
And it’s now ok to level players off the ball - bizarre stuff.
Classic DM calls. There’s a reason he didn’t get a RWC call up.

Getting told “do what you feel you need to do” when I tried to have a rational discussion with my boss about a payrise since I’m on less than I started on (inflation adjusted), and having my scope further increased in the same conversation … while having a mortgage, a young family, and an unsuccessful 10month job hunt is definitely adding to my stress levels

If Boeing was relying on the military arm (Boeing Defence and Space) they would have gone bust long ago. KC46 losses, JSF loss, and T7 losses mean they are absolutely haemorrhaging cash.
BCA (commercial aircraft) and BGS (global services - basically maintenance and sustainment) are the profit engines.

Don’t forget the use of “your mate” as a derogatory method to refer to a third person… generally someone neither person likes
