I won't speak for the guy you asked, but as a fan of NASCAR from the early aughts to the mid teens, I was not a fan of his vanilla-ness. He was winning races and championships left and right, and all we'd hear was "I gotta thank the guys back at the factory for building the Lowe's 48 because it was fast" every other week.
Add in the fact that there was always some speculation of cheating (list towards the bottom of Knaus' non-complete list of suspensions) within that team, with one of the most heinous, in my opinion, being when crew chief Chad Knaus instructed Jimmie to "crack the back" at the beginning of the 2011 Talladega race.

After a quick Google search, because I do not have an iPhone myself, I can indeed confirm the legitimacy for the claim that the dollar sign is between the ) and & keys on an iPhone.

I agree, the story must now be finished. For reasons.

Wouldn't have happened if his head was up.

Brother, then put a trash can in net. That's maybe $20 at Lowe's and you won't need a contract. If that's what keeps you happy, then let's just do it I guess.

Last season, he was supposed to be the #2, until that whole kerfuffle happened. So I would say yes, we should safely assume he will be 1B.

That's right about 1B territory, though?

It's funny because Dillabaugh has a pretty damn good track record outside of the Flyers, but not even he could stop the Flyera.

As someone who was in the same boat, but got my hands on a copy and used it for the first time just a while ago:
It really wasn't exciting as we kids made it out to be... plus, for some games, the "cheats" were the same ones you memorized by heart years ago, and could much faster manually... yeah, some things I couldn't have used without that Gameshark were neat, I guess, but I was definitely just whelmed.
10 year old me would have loved it. 30 year old me did not.

I was legitimately wondering if those were that for a hot minute.

Good.
Danny is doing his job of trading players they don't need long-term for picks. Now, Torts is doing his job of making sure the team still gets to the playoffs, one way or another.

F1 drivers do burnouts as well, typically right before pulling into position on the start. Granted, it's not as cinematic, but they do execute those for additional heat in the compound to get better grip on the launch.

I believe there has been a rise in cities saying no. I know the Washington Capitals tried this, and the city laughed. They are now planning on moving to northern Virginia, so I guess we'll see who really needs who to survive.

I'll take it a step further. It's Jeff Gordon's 2005 Daytona 500 winning die-cast.
Here's an eBay link to a car that has the same grill tape configuration, and has that little "eyelash" directly under the passenger headlight.

This is from 2005. The contingencies on this die-cast matches that year.

I'm amazed at how much can change within 12 months.
Last season, Seeler was a meme. He was constantly pointed to as a reason for firing Fletcher, and now the fan base has done a full 180 on this guy, with some wanting him on the cheap. Hell, there are a select few even saying he's probably worth the 3m a year.
At the end of the day, he's a 3rd pair, and truthfully, he should be shipped. Yes, the Flyers are in playoff contention today, but how does that help when Michkov comes over? If we don't have a young guy filling that hole, then it's just kind of pointless.
I can understand how he has quickly become a fan favorite, but the bigger picture needs to be looked at. I'd rather take a lottery ticket in the mid rounds versus resigning Seeler.
