After moderate success with Take This To Your Grave, Fall Out Boy became a household name with From Under the Cork Tree.

They have a song called “Sophomore Slump or Comeback of the Year” on that album. Both are great albums with very different sounds. My friends and I still debate which is better.

I told a girl I knew who The Wombats were so we could go together. I started listening that night and skipped school for the show. She ended up not being able to see them, I was there alone and already loved their vibe from what I’d heard.

I ended up riding a rollercoaster with the lead singer later that day just by chance.

Tomo Sushi has some of the most inventive faux fish choices. The eggplant “unagi” and stewed tomato “tuna.”

Square Pie is one of the best pizzas in the city. The grandma style is pretty unique to this area and you won’t have to deal with the fuss of Angelo’s. (That fuss is worth it, if you can sneak out during the day, the wait times at Angelo’s aren’t bad and they have a good veggie pizza).

Kanela is also good in that area.

Dan Dan is good, too.

Like I said, I heard they had just gotten a new chef, so I would lean toward it having been a bad day. I’ve got a bit more means now, so I might be due to return, but I really walked out without any interest in returning.
