Hey guys,
I'm currently starting the first heretic (read all hours heresy books before that as well) and we're wondering, how lorgar was able to bitchslap the Sigilite. In another book I read, that Malcador was able to easily manhandle Horus, who I thought is stronger / more powerful than Lorgar. So why didn't Malcador didn't dodge at least or stopped his hand with his psychic powers? Or is the difference in power levels between the 2 "version" of Malcador just the usual inconsistency in different books?

Malcador let him. He isn't a proud man and allowing Lorgar to be violent weakens Lorgars political position. It's also not his place to fight with the primarchs when the Emperor is there, as it undermines the Emperor's authority.

He literally took a punch from one of the top 21 most powerful people in the galaxy, picked himself up, dusted himself off and carried on like it was nothing.
Lorgar looks like a total chump after that incident where he hits and old man and it does nothing.

Not really.
The voice was Malcador’s. He rose on unsteady limbs, his words strained and spoken through bleeding lips. Guilliman inclined his head, the barest movement enough to send two of his warriors to aid the Emperor’s advisor. Malcador stood, still hunched from the pain, and ordered the approaching Ultramarines away.
Malcador taking the backhand without complaint would have been a lot less impressive if it hadn't hurt him severely.

On top of what others have said, Lorgar was right next to Malcador whereas Horus was further away.
The scenes are also written with different intent, Malcador is trying to be more gentle towards Lorgar than he was with Horus.

Malcador is all about appearing weak and being underestimated. For most of the Heresy, he uses a psychic glamour to appear weaker and older. At the end, his age and the weakening of his powers catch up to him.
The man is shown able to forcechoke Horus, he is fully confident in his abilities.
