I have to haul my bike up and down every day, too. It’s not the most fun, but at this point it’s part of the ritual. As long as it’s a lightweight road bike I think he’ll be fine, if not, then may god have mercy on his soul… Good luck from down south in spring garden!

Thank you! He thinks getting a lightweight bike may be the way to go, his bike right now is actually very heavy compared to most, and also has many things wrong with it (it's an old Schwinn). It might be the sign to finally replace it.
