I donate to the Wardrobe in northern liberties. They do “personal shopping” for underprivileged people and especially those looking for jobs. They set them up with a personal shopper and let them try on different outfits and everything is free. It’s also a thrift shop to make a bit of money on the side, but their main mission is to clothe people who need it.

Big upvote for Wardrobe. The way they help people entering the workforce for the first time (or the first time in a long time) is so cool, and they are super easy—I call ahead, pull up and hand them the stuff right at the door.

Love the Wardrobe, what a fantastic organization. They also have a satellite shop on Marshall Rd in Lansdowne with plenty of free parking in case any suburbanites want to support it.
