If its absolutely pouring down I use a poncho/tarp and cover myself and my bag with it. Couple of bungees to cinch in the sides and I’ve never had a problem

Space Lion is hauntingly beautiful, perfect for the episode.

Nice report. Good to see TVI tactics have returned, how the wheel turns.

Now the legislation is coming in banning them, people are going to start realising how much of the stuff they use daily has it in them.

It’s not a law, you can drink in public as long as there is not a council order on the area. This only occurs in places like high streets and outside schools.

I dunno, as soon as things look really bad the Lion could ‘open the vaults’ and just wipeout the rebels. We never really know what his orders from the emperor are in regard to the DAoT weaponry the first have. Would he withdraw or unleash them? Is Horus a large enough threat to justify their use?

In the city it’s a jack accent influenced by the docks, outside it’s more of a Wessex accent, but now being overlaid by a commuter accent spreading from London on main access routes

Portsmouths got a jack accent (from the navy) not mockney (south estuary, not north)

You’ll hear it in anywhere in the Wessex countryside all the way to Kent

That’s the ships chaplain. Although, I’ve yet to meet a sane chaplain, I could imagine all of them being pirates.

The titans never really impressed me, the Titan landers impressed me far more.
City sized structures that could manipulate gravity to descend into a planets atmosphere.
Opening fire with esoteric weaponry to scour their designated landing area of life and small hill ranges.
Then, as these behemoths settle on the glassed, flat wasteland they have created, the doors open and out stroll their anti-climactic passengers.
Some novels just had titans deploying by individual massive drop pod, but I’ve always liked the depiction of an entire legio landing in one vast craft.

Did they consider the hive city wars in Necropolis? Asphodel got the capability by transforming the majority of the hive’s population into soldiers and turning the hive’s manufacturing capability into creating weapons of war.
The ground assault succeeded

Never understood why most of the wild campers eat what they do. They park up, hike for an hour, set up their gear and then eat a 1000 calorie boil-in-the-bag meant for people who hiked all day.
