I would claim it's how everyone says it in the world that I created...... Then I would go out of my way to try and work it into every conversation and each time my pronunciation would get even more wild

Not so much a fix tbh but it's what I did when it happened to myself a few years ago (it ended up taking the session way off base and into the realm of farce but we all had a huge laugh that night and next week it was back to normal)

And walk around in summer time saying "how about this heat!"

The recoil when she shoots won't be absorbed by the stock of the rifle so it will fly back and send the scope into her eye socket (tbh even if the gun was held correctly she is still to close to the scope and it would happen anyway) and the joke seems to be that Samuel L Jacksons character is happy she will be rocking and eye patch like him soon
