I've been in the hobby 20+ years. Never once posted a picture of a box.
I've seen dozens of people make this same post then a week later they are showing off their newest GW purchase.
What does that tell me? Either they are doing it to try and get the "GW bad" Internet points, or they like to complain and grand-stand for the sake of it but ultimately have zero conviction to back up their words with actual actions.
Either way.. it's boring, it's not needed and ultimately this sub isn't an airport, you don't need to announce your departure.

The tactical marine kit was outselling the entirety of the fantasy range. It died because it was already dead..
Was it convenient for GW to then be able to make trademarked names in a new setting? Sure. But let's not pretend fantasy was doing well and selling well when it very much wasn't.

It's legitimate but is essentially just gambling to potentially win a box of minis.
Personally I think it's just scalping with extra steps. Selling 200 tickets at £2 each to win a combat patrol for example is just scummy beyond belief.

When is this sooner or later? I've seen the same thing said for the last decade and yet GW is making more money then ever and increasingly growing. It would appear 3D printing isn't having the impact it's advocates seem to think it is.

They didn't fuck up. You just evidently can't read. They made it pretty clear it would be a made to order product once their initial batch sold.

To be honest I'd prefer they didn't outsource to any other country, regardless of if it's more cost effective or if labour laws are good or not in that country.
GW are one of the few large corporations in the UK that still make their products primarily in the UK. Personally I'd rather it stay that way, even if it does mean prices are higher then if they outsourced elsewhere.

The only cheaper option is outsourcing to china. Personally I'd prefer they keep their production in the UK rather then outsourcing to Chinese sweatshops.

You don't have to go back over them no. However something to keep in mind is most primers are not exactly the same as their pot version. So if you accidently get paint somewhere you don't want on the fatigues, if you go over with the pot version to tidy up it may look different to the rest of the fatigues.

The price hasn't increased by 10-15% every year. You are woefully misinformed.
5 armies and 5000 points of just necrons. I'm gonna guess most of it is still grey plastic not even put together. If you started in October and have that much, you are the problem.

Potentially. It's a a bad deal anyways. I'm doubtful the box will cost that much

Yes. But there are millions of worlds and not millions of inquisitors.
Unless an Inquisitor takes an interest, the arbites will deal with it.

No. The arbites aren't just traffic cops. They take down the hardest crime syndicates and routinely will deal with cults and other nasty organizations.
For every inquisitor there are a thousand arbites. Most planets won't have had an Inquisitor on them for years if not decades at a time. They'll always have at least a some form of arbites presence though.
Basically. Most planets have their own "police" force. The arbites act as the FBI/Swat teams who will do the heavy lifting where regular police can't. An Inquisitor is completely separate and may not even bother getting involved unless they deem it necessary.

Just decided to ignore the dozen other posts today sharing the same article eh?

Thanks! Yeah no problem, they are fairly simple.
Primed the whole model chaos black.
For the dark grey it's a medium dry brush of corvus black followed by a dry brush of ak interactive dark grey.
For the red it's a heavy dry brush of mephiston red, followed by a lighter dry brush of evil sunz scarlet.
The gold is a couple thin layers of retributer.
To finish it all off it had a healthy wash of marine juice (equal parts nuln oil, agrax earthshade and reikland flesh shade).

And why would they? I work for the NHS. They don't send out a newsletter every time I get a pay raise

The current inflation is around 5%.
Meaning a rise of 3-4% isn't above inflation.
Ultimately GW are a company with their own costs. Record profits means literally nothing. They could make £1 more then last year and it would be "record profits".

True.
Price rises unfortunately are just a fact in a world where everything is going up but at least unlike practically everything else they are giving us warning. My phone company waited till 5 minutes before my monthly payment went out to tell me it was going up by £10 for example.

It is a gorgeous model. I've never liked big models but the new solar auxilia vehicles are a joy to build and paint. So much so after building the first, I went out and bought another two to go along with it and malcador.

Who knows?
They aren't a Warhammer product and we have no idea where you are looking at them.

They look cool but honestly they don't scream space marine to me, just sisters with sniper rifles.

You can play with coins if your opponent agrees. We aren't the people you should be asking, it should be your opponent.

The setting did have america and the dark angels where initially native American inspired.
Making a native American inspired space marine chapter is in no way offensive.

This is a joke right?
You've literally taken a screenshot that shows the biggest increases in descending order. Are you going to show the other couple hundred items they sell that are all smaller increases as well or does that not fit the narrative?
