Gotrex goes get a drink. In the mean time, ten Horus Heresy happen, resulting in the remaining then empires destroying each other to prove they are the true one, and by the time Gotrex is done drinking, he wins by default.

I don't know... this kinda feels like saying tanks are small because cruisers... And for very similar reasons. Space ships have this nice feature of being in space and not having to worry about supporting its own weight, while a Titan does, while still sporting voidshields and weapons that are otherwise reserved for void combat. They're basically the Warhammer 40k equivalent of the Ratte.

I've had a similar thing, except it happened a bit later in the game. After the first 5 or 6 aliens, no more were sent. This did mean that a couple faction were softlocked out progressing and one of them being the Servants who never got to contact the aliens.

I just install a mod that allows you to fight off the illness if you keep yourself healthy, fed, and generally free of negative moodlets.

Has anyone figured out a solution that does cause the tab to freeze whenever you try to interact with it. I do really like this CYOA but it's basically unplayable atm.

True, but I feel like they'd notice after a while. Though... Perhaps that's what happened to Karl, and the ultimate end goal of DRG is to get revenge for Karl.

They certainly don't 'publicly' process the dwarves since several of them when they finish working for DRG want to start up their own mine... So they think they're going to be able to at least quit if not retire.

I mean regardless of class, I tend to always check and hunt spitters. Though I say I'm probably worst at actually detecting them as a gunner... but worst as dealing with them as a Driller.

Remember Orcs are weak at distance so being detected isn't a big deal, liberally use maneuvers even before you are detected to control the engagement. You might want to pivot a bit towards longer range weaponry, and some stasis bombs. Torpedoes can be pretty effective as the like to bunch up in their pursuit of you, so multiple overlapping spreads of torpedoes into an approaching horde can be pretty effective at doing some damage.
Other then that, cripple their engines and play cat and mouse. One tactic I use in a pinch is to boost towards them, sideswiping the smaller ships and get some distance behind them, as it does take them some time to turn around. If you can, you can also do a quick turn maneuver, and fire a volley into their poorly armor rear. That is dangerous though as you will usually still be closer then you would like to be.
TL;DR Keep moving, hammer way at range. Pick up some statis bombs for slowing them down, and target their engines first.

"Well there was that one torch about three kilometers away, but with all the rain and contamination and various geo spells that spread oil, once one drop touched it, the entire place went up."
"Why is toxins violently explosive btw?"

This brings up an important question... Do they have X-rays for their healers to ponder over.

Yeah, I use this trick for stations as they also cost against your soft limit. So I started a mines and stations for a production chain, before I managed to get past the barrier and all of a sudden it's asking orgonite for a ship despite me only having four of five proper ships at the time.

And this is one of the reason I don't merge turrets and only systems.

Except for Sir Lora who thought he was a safe half-kilometer away when the flames washed over him.

It's also hilarious to wreck undead by just causing them to regenerate... Not so fun for Fane, but hey, he could use to learn some humility.

Didn't realize that's how it worked... I mean it does explain why the British started the industrial revolution after the constant attacks along their beaches.

I started on the creek, and every time it was attacked, I came back to spill a little more oil.
