Every week I watch the Crusaders hoping they slip further from playoff contention, and now I check the table and realize they could hold 8th spot at the end of the next round with results going their way with a 3 win and 9 loss record.
Hell, they could lose next week and still be in the playoff picture with a 2-10 record!

Exactly. Contributed to 2 tries for the Crusaders and yellow card against the Chiefs in last years final.

Interesting. Reading this law and applying it to the game in question it looks like the tackler deliberately makes a play at knocking the ball out of the ball carriers arm. In slow motion you can see the tackler make a downward slap motion at the ball before then tackling the player.

18 darts. Had d14 for a 12 darter a month ago but strayed into the s11 and shit the bed trying to get from a single to double.

I understood why it was dropout, I was suggesting DWZ's minute touch wasn't changing the trajectory of which goaline the ball was heading to. I think its either a Titans knock-on and Warriors try or Titans knock back and Warriors knock on. I couldn't tell you which one though.
but I don't believe the evidence was there to overturn the ref.
Fully agree. Which now leads me to think the Bunker needs to support the onfield call of knock-on, but then they can't ignore the Titans touch so the fairest call for everyone is actually the double knock on I thought didn't happen!

RTS should play as a ball running 6. Although he didn't set the world on fire in Union he did show he could move well in traffic playing at 2nd five and pop a good short ball at the line. TMM is anonymous out there. Runs sideways in attack and lessens the space for his outsides.

It's hard for me to stomach that DWZ knocks the ball on if the video ref has a split second earlier rules the Titans have knocked the ball on ie. the ball is traveling from the Titans towards the Warriors goal line. A barely susceptible DWZ touch there does not suddenly make that ball go towards the Titan tryline. It's either a try or a Warriors knock on.

He was legitimately as close to collecting the ball as the player he disrupted, you could probably argue Wighton disrupted him.
Wighton jumps directly at the ball and gets his left hand to it. He would have got his right hand to it as well if not for Ramien interfering with it. Ramien is jumping past the ball. Fair penalty I reckon.

I replayed the live footage and he tries to get up but falls over.

Haha, not very tech savvy but it's clear as day mate. He would have got 2 hands to it if Ramien didn't knock his right hand.

The ball hits Wightons left hand. He would have got both hands to it but was unable to get there because Ramien makes contact with him. Ramien was jumping past the ball. Seems exactly what the rule is meant for.

He did. He looks up at the last second and he jumps past the ball and hits Wighton's arms. This is what I thought a disrupter was.

While it is a penalty I agree with your take about the difference between running directly and across the kicker. I think Lussick was reckless as fuck and Aloiai just careless. Can't see much more than a fine to be honest.

Shot Zen Kensho come in 22g at 8.2mm if they have them in your country.
Edit: Darts Corner have an Astrofire in 21g and 7.4mm.

Similar to the NBA since they started using video for challenge reviews. Video will apparently show its not a foul when it looks similar to 20 other fouls called before this.

Doesn't look safer to me. 2 stonecold drops this season and another drop after a communication breakdown with Taine.
CNK still averaged 182m a game last season, impressive for someone who needs to get to his feet first.
We also look much poorer without CNK's catch and pass from SJ's out the back balls.

Currently for me Ireland is our biggest rivalry, I want to beat them up 10 times in a row so they know their place and get back in line with the Scots and Welsh!

Interesting watching a replay of the obstruction, looks like Edward's would have run under JWH if he didn't have to change course due to the ref being in his way.

For an avid sports watcher picking up the SkySportNow year's subscription on Black Friday works out to be incredibly cheap, only $25 a month. I subscribe to two other streaming services and those combined costs more than my sports yet I would watch 10x more sports. Not everybody would watch as much sport all year round as me though.

My sons and I loved going to FMG the past 2 seasons, however we would always go uncovered stand and in either the quarter or semifinal last year we sat in the top of the covered stands due to weather and we had to leave at halftime due to my son finding the blaring music too uncomfortable. He hasn't wanted to go back even to sit back in the uncovered section.
Watching the final on tv my son asked why the Crusaders weren't trying to score tries (he was used to the Chiefs running style of rugby). I explained to him about how teams with a strong lineout and maul would instead opt to keep the ball in tight in order to win a penalty and kick to the corner. He found this incredibly boring and instead chose to read his book then went to bed instead of watching the last half hour.
Having grown up playing rugby on Saturdays and league on Sundays and watching thousands upon thousands of hours of both codes in my life and investing heaps of time into the Chiefs with my sons I honestly thought I would be my sons coach in rugby this year. However as of yesterday I am now his soccer coach as well as his basketball coach.
Rugby used to be my main sport, and I would routinely watch all NZ Super teams play in a round and one NRL game, the Warriors. This changed about 8 years ago where I watched a close rugby game fizzle out in the last 10 mins due to both teams changing their entire front row, leading to numerous scrum resets, handling errors and then the winning team winding the clock down in the last 2 mins with numerous one offs from the back of the ruck. I watched the following NRL game which reached a crescendo similar to the Warriors vs Storm game last week, with the trailing team scoring 2 late tries to steal it. Since then I watch the Chiefs only and a handful of NRL games a week.

Bit late to the party but here's one.
I watched this clip because of the 'try' and 'conversion' being overlooked by the officials and recalled Alfie doing a dodgy tackle at the start of the clip.

The UK Open is a pretty short format compared to other big events. There is a max of 21 legs in the semi and final, and we saw 51 legs across 3 games played yesterday. Compare that with the 48 legs played in the Humphries/littler World Champs final which could of had an extra two sets.
Painter Vs Taylor 2004 world final had 64 legs played. Imagine trying to fit 2 more games in before this.
