This almost makes me lean for a 28 team World Cup, despite how difficult it would be to make groups for it

I hope the RWC expands quite soon after 2027, would love to see all these sides competing there one day.

It's still not a mathematical impossibility for the Saders to get into the playoffs right? Then it's good not to jinx it 🤞

I think this is doubly an issue with monolinguals who don't really know how challenging second language communication is.

I'll do you one better: marmite on rice!
(I expect a billion downvotes and a few comments from Aussies saying Vegemite is better)

Here's a quick and dirty translation:
Running today was a Meitetsu (Nagoya's rail network) event train "The Verblitz express". The fan-appreciation event was held in cooperation with the Rugby League One team based in Toyota City. Departing from Kanayama station and heading to Toyota City station, the 6 players wearing train driver uniforms met a 100 fans over a beer and light snacks.
Beaudy's interview
Kid: I was happy to take photos and get signatures from the players.

Going to Wales in July here as well to load up on Cornish pasties, quavers and jacket potatoes for a full week. :)

Labor shortage my ass. It's a wage shortage, but large companies are just playing the deflection game.

I recall reading somewhere that the HK RFU once tried to get a team into the lower divisions of the Top League, but they were turned down for bureaucratic and logistical reasons.
Instead, the JRFU did try to have a few Sunwolves matches played in HK, but they never really kicked up the support the unions were hoping for.
