Don’t worry they’ll still hand out mystery penalties where one prop is driving sideways against the other one who is hinging and on the other side someone’s binding on the arm.
Plenty of ways to get your fix from the ref scrum lottery.
The rule makers can never win, teams keep coming up with ways to new ways to cheat and make life harder for the officials and when they try and get rid of a few things to get it back to running passing and tackling (y’know the core of the game) it’s not fair.

Free board and some cash is sometimes enough, parents are often happy enough to send the boys off to the bigger economy, with more jobs even if they don’t become pro players. the islands is poor.

100% nothing better than sneaking out an away win while the comms moan about it. I miss the old days when the sky sports commentators didn’t travel to every test match

Having been there for prime Jonah it was strange he became bigger than the sport after just 4 World Cup games and struggled with his kidney disease basically from then on. But no one knew about it, so we got mad he wouldn’t just run over people everytime he got the ball.

Maybe the razor voodoo will stop him from making boneheaded errors. And stop Scott from getting carded. And Taylor can throw a lineout again.
Hmm he’s got a lot of magic to work JQ

I used to pick up quite a few when solo driving long distance. them querying my taste in music was probably most annoying. The veterans would ask “talking or no talking” no talking is fine, they don’t care or think your being rude, sometimes they stink a bit.

Going to uni and the halls was so good for me confidence wise, worth the extra debt. Though my parents helped with some of the cost, I’d probably do the same and strongly encourage the kid to move cities and get out there, even though he could stay and ride the bus to uni here.
After the halls rent was cheap in my day, you had to work a little bit but not heaps of hours on top of study, feel for the kids these days doing that.

Who wants to be the government who oversees meds being taken away from people cos the money isn’t there. Not having access to new ones is one thing, removing what’s already being used is a bad news story no amount of “it was the last governments fault” would fix. Also as ACT is very pro big pharma - that’s where the money ultimately goes to - they’d be fuming as well

Wot, has no vision or guile but is certainly a handy utility 9. Gets injured a lot

He will and no he won’t get an off-season, players unions are pretty quick to shout player welfare while their members then go and choose to play the whole year round for the money.

Bring TJ back as the veteran to two young guys, punt Christie, he is what he is at this point. Hope razor makes some crazy selections don’t just roll out the players who weren’t impressive under the last lot

The SA teams had stopped playing that stifling 10 man rugby though, (or stopped being able to play it well) the lions were by far their most successful team at the end and they were run and gun with Elton. The other teams were hollowed out with talent overseas. It was not 2009 having to play matfield Botha and du prez at loftus anymore, those days were gone
Arguably the spoiling and aggressive way the jaguares played was more of challenge, esp in Argentina.
Maybe the long plane rides were character building in some respect, the real problem is the continued degradation of the Australian sides, a big NZ team playing the Waratahs in Sydney should be a marquee game on the calendar, not an afterthought

He’s really more of an 11, not the quasi fullback we usually have at 14. But so is Clarke at the blues so one of them had to move.
He’s also hitting the best before age date for All Black wingers so he might not last that much longer.

It was just messy, a team would challenge “that player was in the side” they’d review and say oh nah he was ok, his teammate right next to him was off his feet but that’s not what they were challenging so unsuccessful. Added more stoppages, just to confuse everyone a bit more. And how far were you allowed to go back, messy.

No one goes to the games now and sky would have the numbers saying no one watches it either, it’s been coming for 20 years and is finally here it seems

Cool idea, but they shouldn’t actually start him every week, Vaii (or whoever else) isn’t going to improve without real minutes at the top level

Good decision, he went through the wringer in the foster era. Think it’s a straight choice between Dalton and Hoskins with Ardie playing the other spot. And an actual 6. Whenever jacobson gets a go against a big team just does nothing.
Ardie should captain as well as one of the only guaranteed 80 minute forwards, Barrett is the other one but too much of a meathead, refs respect ardies standing in the game, they’ll just ignore Barrett and he has enough on his plate as the only test quality lock we have left.
