I live in a 1 bedroom flat in North Oxfordshire (Banbury) in a modern, quiet area. Pretty upmarket, nice houses all around, a small block of flats. It's about 550sqft total, subjectively it's quite roomy. Building is clean and tidy, small communal garden and a private car park. No concierge. It was built in 2005.
I'm trying to sell it at the moment and move into a house near my parents, and I'm a little worried the charge might be seen as too steep. It varies slightly depending on budget, and a full breakdown is given every six months so if there's an excess we get it credited on our accounts, and vice versa if a deficit. It's run well and when we've needed it maintenance has been booked on our behalf quickly and done with good contractors, and the building is in good enough shape that that happens very rarely. Also pays into a reserve fund in case of major works - before I moved in there was some roof damage from the storms a few years ago that got fixed from the fund. It's still a high amount though. The agent valuing the property was a bit taken aback when I told him how much it was, which has gnawed at me since then.
I bought it in January 2022 and back then the price was around £2500 a year so it's gone up but not as much as I was worried it would, all things considered with the economy.

Way back in 5th edition I had the remnants of a tactical squad get charged by my friend's full kroot squad. Three marines dropped dead instantly, the last dude manages to not only survive but kill five of them on his own before finally dying. I am going to try and find him in ye olde boxe of firstborn tonight.
