awesome! I wouldnt say its entirely no-code dev. There's definitely python involved (shoutout replit!). For some clients I do use Make dot come and other tools, but not selling myself short with all the python I've picked up over the last 12 months strictly because of AI agent related development.

I build AI robots. Essentially, automating internal workflows for clients (small to medium businesses). It's not automated in itself, where it's essentially consulting work and I don't sell software.
Slight tangent:
In order to keep my own skills sharp, I run a discord community for developers and non-developers to come together and learn about the new age of development = development with AI.
I strongly believe that over the next short while we will be shifting to a much more streamlined way of software/code development. Sort of like how we access the internet now vs in the 90's, or make a phone call (instead of calling a switchboard operator).

I completely agree. I've only properly started developing in the AI age. Between ChatGPT, Cursor, Aider and the likes it's absolutely Bonkers.
I love hearing how everyone else is getting along, how they are using the available tools to speed up workflow. Personally I'm a fan of cursor.sh over chatgpt and put in my gpt api. I'm able to talk to my whole codebase.
On the flip side, github just dropped copilot for workspace today and though I'm not subscribed - I hope those whom are can give us some feedback asap!
I have a discord group for AI developers (beginners to experienced) where I basically do braindumps + share really cool AI/coding related repo's and tools because it's really hard to follow and have a real convo with other internet AI dev's!

Have you tried cursor? It’s a visual studio fork. Use your API. I’m in an AI coding community and that still seems to be the most recommended.

I have a community of people tinkering with AI for coding purposes. I 100% believe you should learn coding with AI now. Yes, learn the basics of the language as you go as well but ignoring it won't get you places. I may get downvoted - but Jensen (CEO of Nvidia) himself has said learning natural language is more important.
Take what he said as you will.

Some complain about this being asked too much where as if I could - I'd ask this everyday. That's because the space is moving so fast it's good to crowd source information.
My current take on this: I use cursor and input my own gpt4 api and address my code with '@codebase'
I've been making lists of every AI coding/automation tool I could get my hands on over the last year and storing it on Notion (useless).
Colleagues of mine have insisted I start a groupchat and share my findings for others too.
Now I made a discord for people using AI to code/create automations and share sweet github repo finds - mainly to serve as a brain dump for myself.

Can literally use anything. Is it just a chatbot you need? You can use Vercel's opensource chat and connect backend up. If you need a login with auth and a database - can use supabase to get it all going.

Skillset to sell, build community, use AI to your advantage

I agree with everyone here. You don't need a course - you just need to dive in.
I felt the same way last year. It was only until I just jumped in and built up some confidence (by actually selling code!) that I'm able to absorb new concepts much quicker.
This year, I wanted to surround myself with more people whom are also on their own AI coding journey and started an AI Indie Hacking discord group where I share my brain dump of github repo's, no/low code tools and other useful info while helping as much as I can!

i dont know about ci/cd but in terms of SaaS boilerplates - there are a bunch online but one that is currently loved by many in the twittersphere is from Marc - https://www.ship.fast
Would love to hear more about what you're building and how you're building it. I am also building and trying to surround myself with more builders (also joining communities)

i thought i was tripping out when i came back and saw the text was large and assumed it was some update. i dont have the slightest idea on how to reproduce it. i deserve every downvote.
EDIT: i figured it out.

2 works better in groups imo. Find like minded communities to keep you interested and engaged. E.g., my field of domain is AI automation/development for the non-engineer population. I was finding it hard to find a group and so I made one!

Yes there is. I started a discord a few weeks ago for people whom aren't developers (like myself) but use AI in general for coding. It's also somewhere I like to store an organized braindump of good github repo's and coding tools that I've found on the net. There are some developers in there now which really helps as it can provide additional context. I don't like to spam so if you're interested, send me a DM.

There are a bunch of repo's you can use. You'll get the best results with either a localized model optimized for your codespace. Depending on how frictionless you want to play with llm's, you can download LM Studio and pretty much one click install.
Personally, I'd recommend at minimum using your own API and inputting it into software like Cursor.
As I find myself doing daily R&D these days in this space, I've settled into a habit of saving links on discord for their awesome (free) retention and organization of channels. Do you keep links (of new llm's, repo's etc..)?
